We have sent you 'children's drawings' as a thank you from the field!

To everyone who provided warm support for the crowdfunding campaign '[TENSONG x PLAS] We want to deliver support that is close to each individual - The Ten-Person, Ten-Color Project', thank you once again.

For those who chose 'Children's drawings as a thank you from Kenya' as a reward, we have shipped the letters and drawings from Homa Bay, Kenya!

In today's report, please allow us to introduce the process leading up to the mailing of the letters.

Postcards that let you feel the breeze of Africa

Mbita, where our project site is located, is a rural town on the shores of Lake Victoria.

Postcards are not something that are sold everywhere. This time, we found some wonderful postcards in Kisumu, the city closest to Mbita!

They are lovely postcards featuring African artwork. We hope you can feel a little bit of the African atmosphere!

They are drawing them one by one!

We asked the children to draw 'someone they like' or 'their future dream'. Each letter contains one hand-drawn picture.

This photo shows Sammy, a first-year junior high school student who drew one of the pictures.
'I want to be an engineer in the future!' He seems to be working hard on his math and science studies lately. He even reads books on computer science on his days off! Amazing!

Feeling the support from Japan, he drew the picture with great care.

Shipping from the Mbita Post Office!

Finally, we are going to the post office to send the international mail. This is the post office in Mbita, Homa Bay County.

We handed them over securely to the post office staff! Taking a commemorative photo together was not allowed for security reasons, so we took one in front of the post office instead!

It may take about 3 weeks for them to arrive. In some cases, it might take up to a month and a half... Also, since the logistics are not perfect, there is no 100% guarantee that they will arrive.

In the unlikely event that it does not arrive after a month and a half, please let us know.
