Personal Boundaries and How to Deal with Hypersensitivity
In this post, I would like to continue from the last one regarding the "empath" trait, writing about personalities, coping methods, and more.

Personalities often seen in empaths
Sensitive
Susceptible
Good at reading the room
High empathy
Kind
Skilled at being considerate of others
Soft-spoken
As you can see, empaths have wonderful traits that allow them to be considerate of those around them and share their kindness. However, there are some points to be aware of.
Because their empathy is extremely high and they can sensitively perceive the atmosphere of a situation, they may sometimes pour too much affection into others, more than they value themselves.
Also, because they absorb the energy of their surroundings like a sponge, they may end up taking in not only good energy but also negative energy.
Coping methods
Be conscious of boundaries (do not perceive others' problems as your own)
Prioritize self-care
Meditate (reduces stress, improves concentration, improves sleep quality, has effects such as keeping the mind and body healthy)
Warm your body (warm areas that are pathways for energy, such as the back of your neck or between your shoulder blades)
Practice abdominal breathing. Consciously taking slow, deep breaths and exhaling for a long time helps regulate your autonomic nervous system and allows you to relax.
Practice grounding. By walking barefoot on soil or meditating with the image of connecting to the earth's energy, you can return excessively high energy to the earth and stabilize yourself.
Build muscle (muscle acts as an energy barrier, making you less susceptible to the influence of others' emotions)
Empath Nature and the Difficulty of Recognizing Boundaries
Some of my clients are empaths who struggle with their relationships with their parents.
I feel that childhood experiences often influence this background.
In the process of growing up, children learn 'boundaries'—that they are separate individuals from their parents and that their emotions are also different(this later influences how they interact with those around them).
However, because empathic children strongly sense the emotions of others, they may find it difficult to draw these boundaries.
Therefore, as parents try to be close to their child's emotions, they may unintentionally say or do things that attempt to control those emotions, or they may not know how to respond to their child's emotional expression, resulting in a situation whereif the situation continues where emotions are ignored, the empath's capacity for empathy may work excessively, making it difficult to develop self-esteem.
In this case, please acknowledge and accept yourself as you are.
If you feel that your low self-esteem stems from childhood experiences, it is important to look at the situation at that time objectively and have a forgiving heart.
Please believe that the adults at that time loved you, a sensitive person, and were doing their best.

Angel Work
To you, a sensitive and loving empath. If you feel empathy fatigue in your daily life, I hope you will remember the coping methods introduced in this article.
I will list two simple angel exercises, so please try them out.
When you feel tired
Try asking Archangel Raphael to pour healing energy into you (it is fine to use your own words).
Archangel Raphael means 'God's healing'.
Just by calling out in your heart, he will surely give you peace.
At that time, it is more effective to imagine your whole body being wrapped in emerald green light.
When you feel anxious about going into crowds or places you dislike
Try asking Archangel Michael to wrap you in a deep blue light.
Archangel Michael's light should protect you from negative energy.
Summary
Being an empath is a wonderful gift. However, to make the most of that gift, it is essential to take care of yourself.
Using the coping methods introduced here as a reference, take care of yourself and maintain a healthy state of mind and body.
And please, fully utilize your talents as an empath and live a brilliant life.
