[New Series] Learn Pet Parenting with Hugh | Shall we translate the "inner voice" of those who have no words? "Ethology"
🐶🐱 Hey, do you really understand me?
Nice to meet you!
Welcome to "Learn Pet Parenting with Hugh".
I am Hugh Mama🩵🖊️, and I will be in charge of these articles.
Together with my beloved cat Hugh, I will share the world's gentlest parenting stories to nurture the "hearts" of our pets who have no words.
A life with dogs and cats is "
parenting" itself. Here, we will hold strategy meetings to turn those everyday moments into ones that make you smile.

🌳 The magic to turn the "why?" of troublesome behavior into "adorable" (reasons for problem behavior)
🌳 Tail-wagging! A grand strategy to skyrocket happiness (
tips for increasing happiness)🌳 Aiming for over 20 years old! Sharing the source of vitality (
wisdom for healthy longevity
)🌳 Secrets of animals that will keep you saying "Wow!" (surprising trivia
)
By making "reading" and "knowing" their behavior and hearts your allies, the world for you and your dogs and cats will start to shine even brighter✨
🥰 To the gentle pet owners who are sighing all alone
Regarding problem behaviors or physical conditions, have you ever thought: "Why does my pet act like this?" "Is my love not enough?" "I don't know what to do anymore..."
Have you ever frozen up while sighing alone at home or while clutching your smartphone?
If there is anyone who says "never," you must be a saint who accumulated too much virtue in a past life, or a hermit who has achieved enlightenment!
Please continue to live your happy days just like that✨
However, if you are nodding slightly right now,
this place can help to gently wrap around the heart of "you," the only one of your kind in the world.
🤪 A veteran with 25 years of cat experience?! The day I rolled my eyes back in my head with my tofu-like
mentality
First, let me tell you about the slightly 'embarrassing reason' why I decided to start this note.
I live with two cute cats.
The incident happened when
my first cat, 'Hugh-kun,' was one year old and in his prime of mischief.
Thinking it would be even more fun if he had a partner to play energetically with, I received a wonderful connection from the
cattery I had been working with for a long time,
and it was exactly when I welcomed
his new little brother, Finn-kun.
To my surprise, a trial called
'urinary trouble (inappropriate elimination)' that lasted for over half a year came
my way.
Even Hugh-kun, who had been a model student until then, lost his
appetite and went into a super angry mode, hissing 'Hisss!'
I was chased by cleaning from morning till night, and the house was already
in a state of total chaos, like a battlefield🌪️
To be honest...
At the time, I was thinking, 'What did I do wrong...?'
I was in a pitch-black tunnel with no exit, rolling my eyes back and
about to foam at the mouth (lol)😂
Moreover, I was a veteran with over 25 years of cat-owning experience
(or so I thought).
'I know everything about cats, even in my sleep!'
I thought with such arrogance, but when it came to my own children,
'I'm pouring out mega-sized love, so why won't things change!?'
And I panicked perfectly.
My veteran pride crumbled away
in an instant, just like tofu (lol).
🌊 A fateful encounter that made the scales fall from my eyes with a 'splash!'
So, I searched desperately, until my fingers were practically inflamed with tendonitis,
and what I arrived at after searching endlessly wasn't about willpower, guts, or praying to the gods (lol).
It was the concept of 'Animal Instincts and the Mechanics of the Heart (Ethology)'.
It's a little different from the 'magic wand' solutions you often see online that claim, 'Do this and it will be fixed!'
When I learned about '
Behavior with a Reason = SIGNAL' based on animal instincts, the scales fell from my eyes like a waterfall.
Every troublesome behavior had a 'reason' behind it❤️🩹
Actually, this ethology is a lifelong treasure that was passed down to me directly by an expert who was in charge of the animal department at a certain theme park.
It would be too much of a waste to keep this locked away in my heart alone!
'I want to share this with every owner who is struggling!'
I created this space fueled solely by that passion.
🌹 3 pieces of magic that turn the world 'rose-colored' when you understand instincts
Understanding your pet's instincts isn't just about 'calming down troublesome behavior.'
It casts these kinds of happy spells.
🚩 The scream of 'Why!?' turns into the realization of 'Ah, so that's what it is.'
🌟 You can see your child's 'true joy,' and the family's smiles skyrocket.
💛 You can notice signs from their heart and body sooner, and the time you can spend together grows significantly.
And as you learn this, a 'core for making your own judgments' will form within you as an owner.
🌳 The 'Trouble List' we will solve together from now on
For example,
we will unravel these kinds of troubles one by one.
💬 'Chomp!' won't stop...
The real reason behind biting habits
💬 'I'm worried about what the neighbors think...'
Steps to turn excessive barking into peace of mind
💬 'They peed here again...'
Creating an environment to break the cycle of accidents and understanding the reasons why
💬 'They aren't good at being left alone...'
How to help pets with separation anxiety and their moms spend time together with a smile
Even if everything isn't solved in an instant, if the way you
'translate' events changes, the way you interact will change.
When the way you interact changes, the relationship changes, and the owner's
own distress will begin to unravel.
💌 Just one last thing from Hugh's mom, with love
Just one more important thing.
That is,
'Pets can sometimes become a mirror of their owner's heart.'
This is
not a story to blame the owner, so please don't worry.
Mom and Dad's restlessness or tension, strangely enough,
seems to get transmitted to those little ones.
Knowing this might sting a little.
But when you realize it, the relationship changes into something deeper and even more precious.
Shall we take the time to decipher the 'inner voices' of our pets,
who have no words, together here?
Sometimes you might hold your head in your hands and say 'Oh boy!',
but even that will become a 'precious memory with your dog or cat'.
After all, we are all the 'moms and dads'
who love them more than anyone else in the world!
From here, our parenting story begins 🔔
Thank you for reading until the end, woof meow! 🐶🐱
