Towards Establishing an NPO for "Financial Education for Children"🌈
I am very sorry for the long silence...
Since the beginning of this year, 90% of my thoughts have been occupied by preparations for establishing an NPO.
While I am still responding 100% to requests from clients in my main business as a life insurance agency, I am now completely in a "waiting" mode😅
Even so, there are clients who still reach out to me and people who provide new referrals.
Thanks to all of you, I am able to focus on my efforts toward establishing the NPO, and I truly have nothing but gratitude.
**
Now, about the NPO.
The official name is "Specified Non-Profit Corporation".
It is an abbreviation for "Non-Profit Organization" or "Not-for-Profit Organization".
Although it is a corporation, unlike a joint-stock company, it does not aim for profit.
However...
It goes without saying that money is necessary to operate.
It would be no laughing matter if an organization that teaches financial education were to struggle with money...😓
Establishing the organization is not the goal; it is the starting point.
And I believe that only by operating continuously can it become an entity that contributes to the spread of financial education for children in Japan.
Although the goal is not to make a profit, money is still necessary.
Honestly, I feel that this balance is likely the most difficult part of running an NPO.
**
Another thing I find difficult is securing regular members.
Unlike a private corporation, which can be established by even one person, an NPO requires a minimum of 10 regular members (also called employees).
If even one person drops out and the number falls below 10...
At worst, the NPO will be unable to continue its operations.
Currently, I am meeting with many people every day to secure at least 10 members for the establishment application, asking them to join as regular members if they agree with our philosophy.
In other words, the initial members at the time of establishment!😁
By my count, I feel like we have gathered about 7 to 8 people so far😊

Finally, I am thinking of including the following sentence in the "Purpose" section of the Articles of Incorporation.
To ensure that all children
can smile and
learn to manage money well,
we will create a system where both parents and children can learn together,
and support them.
Tsubasa Ozora, the protagonist of Captain Tsubasa, says, "The ball is my friend" and "Friends are not scary."
I would also like to continue my activities so that children all over Japan can become "friends with money," and so that negative images like "money is scary" or "money is dirty" can be eliminated from Japan, even if just a little.😊

For those who are interested in or have questions about the NPO I am planning to establish.
If you would like, please share your thoughts with me via this form.😊
Thank you for your support.(^^♪
