[Project Participation] I want to spend my whole life watching children grow
The project "What is your dream?" by Keiko Emura, the Dream Support Manager.
Actually, this is my first time applying for a project like this.
I would like to write down my current thoughts.
✨💖✨💖✨💖✨💖✨💖✨💖✨💖✨💖
My main profession is insurance sales.
It is the exact opposite of talking about dreams; it is a job that prepares for the reality of "what if."
Even so, I went through a period of struggling until about two years ago.
I felt like I didn't want to just end up as someone who only does "insurance work."
It is not that I dislike the insurance business at all.
It is a job where I can meet many customers, regardless of their industry, age, or gender.
It is a valuable job where I can provide a means for everyone to prepare for the reality of "what if."
While I cannot fully heal the hearts of those left behind, I can provide a little bit of mental support in terms of finances.
To put it pretentiously, I do this job with pride.
However, I still had a feeling of being troubled.
During that time, I had the opportunity at a seminar to dig deep into what my own "mission" was.
The keyword that emerged there was"growth"
I love myself as I grow.
And, perhaps even more than my own growth, I love watching other people grow.
Being able to put into words what defines me was the moment when the things that had been weighing on my mind cleared up just a little.
I want to watch children as they grow
I want to live in a world like that
Since I hold the FP qualification and was able to grasp the keyword of "children's growth," the theme of what I should do was decided in an instant.
✨ Financial education for children ✨
From there, I began studying financial education for children in various ways.
The internet, books, stories from fellow FPs, and real-life experiences from clients.
And, if I may be so bold, I began to share information on children's financial education that I had compiled in my own way through seminars and this note.
In doing so, one fact has gradually become a certainty.
Financial education for children is not systematic at all...😱
That is exactly right.
Financial education for children is, in the end, just everyone's own personal opinion.
And the source of many of those ideas is their own personal experience.
Experience is, of course, very valuable.
However, whether it applies to many parents and many children is an unknown.
There is data in the world that has been surveyed and researched regarding the relationship between children and money, but unfortunately, I feel that such data is rarely discussed in general children's financial education seminars.
My current dream
It is
to establish financial education for children as a field of study
This is absolutely impossible to do alone.
Here is an FP who is thinking about such a grand thing.
For now, I intend to steadily compile it even if I am alone, but
for those who would like to learn together and build something together,
if you would like, why don't we work hard and rack our brains together for the sake of the children?
The reward is the sight of children growing up and their smiles 😊
