📺 Tension at Max! Binge-watching the anime and memories of the original art exhibition intersect!
Hello everyone!
I've been saving this mosaic art puzzle I bought at the My Hero Academia original art exhibition, telling myself "I'll do it someday!" and today, I'm finally starting!
I heard the anime is ending soon, so I'm currently in the middle of binge-watching from Season 6, and my excitement is at its peak! While watching, I keep thinking, "Oh, that's right, there was such an intense scene!" and my enthusiasm for the puzzle is at an all-time high!
💥 A massive 1000-piece volume! The "manga panels" divided into small pieces are amazing!
The challenge this time is a highly rewarding 1000-piece puzzle!

I was working on a 500-piece one until recently, so I was overwhelmed by this volume again, but I'm full of motivation!
The most important thing in a mosaic puzzle is, after all, the initial sorting. Although it's a puzzle with few colors, I sorted them this time as well to efficiently proceed with the 1000 pieces.
I divided them into the following 5 groups!
White
Black
Green
Skin tone + the hair colors of the heroes

🔍 Zoom in! The sense of presence and impact hidden in the pieces
The biggest appeal of this mosaic puzzle is that each piece depicts a panel from the manga!
The black pieces are a bit hard to see, but the panels are clearly visible on the white pieces. I'm an anime fan and have only read about 10 volumes of the manga, but even so, I can find panels of those intense scenes I saw at the exhibition, and I really feel the sense of presence and impact! I have nothing but high expectations for what kind of picture it will be when it's finished!
🧱 Difficulty analysis! The "demon realm" revealed by completing the frame
This time, I've also finished assembling the frame (outer border) first!

After working on the frame, the difficulty level of this puzzle has become clear.
Easy starting points: Since the panels are readable on the white pieces, it seems I can make efficient progress by looking for pieces that connect.
Tricky points: The black and green pieces. The panels depicted on them blend into the background, making them hard to distinguish, and since they are heavily used in the costumes and shadows of the main heroes, it seems difficult to determine "whose piece belongs where." This will likely be the biggest challenge!
Mosaic puzzles take time, but I will enjoy the process of piecing together these passionate original artworks over time!
I will continue to report on my progress in a long-term series, so please keep an eye on my challenge!
👇Everyone, please try it out for yourselves too👇
