(Isaiah 43:19) Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness And rivers in the desert.
(Isaiah 43:19) Behold, I will do a new thing. I will make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.
According to the New International Reader's Version of the Bible, Isaiah 43:19 is rendered as “I am about to do something new. It is beginning to happen even now. Don't you see it coming? I am going to make a way for you to go through the desert. I will make streams of water in the dry and empty land.” So, God is saying, He is making a way for us in the desert. The question is in the desert everywhere can be turned into a road so what road or way is God talking about? This way or road refers to the course of life God has prepared for us. It's talking about that holy path of success, peace, and promotion God has prepared for us. This is what David called “paths of righteousness” (Psalm 23:3). Remember that these paths were made available through the name of the Lord (Psalm 23:3). And that special name of the Lord is JESUS CHRIST.

The word river in our theme Scripture can also be translated as “prosperity”. In prayer, declare that a way that leads to peace, prosperity, and promotion is made for you in that difficult situation. Halleluyah!
