Is it finally the season for "Oyuki who knits Ashinaka sandals"?!
***Introduction
I am truly grateful to everyone for reading the daily life of such a boring middle-aged woman.
I am already overwhelmed just reading the new posts from all you diligent people,
so since I post irregularly, you might have to scroll back to find my posts,
but I am deeply touched by those who do go back and read them.
I have nothing to do with Congratulatory Boards, so I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude.***
Even so, I am deeply hooked on note in my own way,
and this time, it's about the "Ashinaka sandals" I couldn't help but get.
It's already been two months.
The sandals from the noter "Oyuki who knits Ashinaka sandals" arrived.
But it was still too chilly for bare feet, so I displayed them for a while.
My husband wore them over his socks, though... is that okay?
Finally, the ban is lifted!
They're great! They're really great!
And, oh, how cute they are!?
They are made to order one by one,
and she listens to your requests, like your favorite colors.
I told her I love Liberty (a fabric brand),
and she made them for me with Liberty fabric. I'm so happy!

A while ago, when I was walking barefoot, a friend said to me,
"Aren't you walking with your toes lifted?"
It seems I was walking with my toes lifted off the ground...
I hadn't even noticed!
Apparently, if you don't walk by firmly gripping with your toes, it causes all sorts of problems.
I certainly had many things that came to mind.
I can't walk down the stairs lightly when I first wake up,
and my feet would hurt after just a little walking.
If I keep going like this, it might even affect my lower back, they say.
Since then, I've become conscious of it,
and while it's better than before, I still lift them if I'm not careful.
So when I saw the "Ashinaka sandals",
I thought, "Wait, are these for me?!"
Are they what you'd call a more refined version of the diet sandals that were popular back in the day?
The sole is designed to be only in the center of the front part,
so when you wear them, your toes naturally touch the ground.
Thanks to that, even when I'm not wearing the sandals, I'm walking by gripping with my toes!
I'm going to fully enjoy the barefoot season this year!
Thank you so, so much!
"Ashinaka," which Nobunaga apparently also loved.
With scary good timing,
shoes that are a Nobunaga model also arrived for my daughter.
What a surprise.
