【Applying for the Logo Design Project🍀】AJI圩 -ajisai- | An entrance of color connecting Hydrangeas and Kabukicho

Good evening🌛 This is Livera.

Space Rare Beast🊄🌬 Loose Hero Akane I would like to apply for your project to create a logo design for "AJI圩 -ajisai-".😊

I created the logo design for the new restaurant in Shinjuku Kabukicho, "AJI圩 -ajisai-", together with my AI partner, Omoi.
When I read the article, the first thing that came to mind was a single large hydrangea.

A hydrangea is made up of small flowers that differ slightly in color and shape, coming together to create one rich display of color.

I felt that this was somewhat similar to the image of a tavern where people from different places gather around the same table to enjoy food and conversation.

“May this be a place where both those visiting Kabukicho for the first time and those spending their usual night out can feel free to pass through the gate.”

With that wish in mind, I would like to propose two different concepts.

Proposal 1: "The Banquet of Iris Purple"

Ayame-iro (Iris color): Hydrangeas and the restaurant's individuality
Ruri-kon (Lapis lazuli navy): The night in Kabukicho and the relaxing private rooms
Seiheki (Blue-green): Newness and a lightness that makes it easy for anyone to enter
Sango-iro (Coral color): Food, smiles, and the warmth of people
Torinoko-iro (Eggshell color): A gentle negative space like Japanese paper

The first proposal overlays three images—hydrangea flowers, small plates, and people gathered around a dining table—into a single circular symbol.

The petals gathered in the center also look like a small plate seen from above.

The soft shape surrounding them represents people laughing together around a meal.
Even if each person is different, when they gather at the same table, a unique scene for that night is born.
I expressed this "warmth of gathering" in a friendly, modern form.

The main color is Ayame-iro, which has elegance and glamour.
To this, I have added Ruri-kon to evoke the calmness of the night, Seiheki for a refreshing feel, and
Sango-iro to represent the warmth lit by food and conversation.

The rounded silhouette is designed to be easily applied not only to signage but also to SNS icons, shop cards, chopstick sleeves, and coasters.
This proposal aims for a look that will be loved for a long time as a "Colorful Japanese Sake Bar" that is gentle, elegant, and easy to enjoy.

Proposal 2: "The Flower-Lit Gate of Evening Indigo"

Yoi-ai (Evening indigo): The night in Kabukicho and a sense of enveloping security
Beni-hi (Scarlet): Red lanterns, the chef's passion, and the city's vibrancy
Shion-iro (Aster purple): Hydrangeas and diverse encounters
Shinbashi-iro (Turquoise): Neon, freshness, and international lightness
Gofun-iro (Shell white): Japanese negative space and cleanliness

An entrance to a warm dining table that opens into the night of Kabukicho

The second proposal is a design centered on hydrangeas, adding the excitement of a Kabukicho night and the warmth of an izakaya.
The arch at the top is a gate welcoming you into the glittering night city.

The red lanterns on the left and right are lights that signal, "There is a dining table here where you can relax," amidst the bustling Kabukicho.

The hydrangea blooming in the center of the gate carries the meaning that various people and flavors gather to create one fun night.

While it has the glamour typical of Kabukicho, I aimed for a bright, Japanese-modern style that makes young people and those visiting Kabukicho for the first time feel, "It looks fun" and "I want to go in."

The main color is

Yoi-ai, which has the depth of the night sky. To this, I combined

Beni-hi to show the lanterns and the city's vibrancy, Shion-iro for the hydrangeas, and
Shinbashi-iro
to evoke the sparkle of neon.

Because it is a gate-shaped silhouette that leaves an impression even from a distance, it is a design that makes it easy for people to find the entrance to the restaurant even in the bustling landscape of Kabukicho.

“What kind of food and encounters await beyond this gate?”

I hope this logo will create that sense of excitement and anticipation, leading to the customer's first step inside.

The thoughts shared by both proposals

This time, I thought of the logo not just as a decoration for the restaurant, but as the first experience a customer has when encountering the restaurant.
The moment they see the sign, I want them to feel:

“It looks fun”

“It looks easy to enter”
“I want to try eating here with someone”
And for those who have visited once, I hope that every time they see the logo, they will remember the taste of the food and the words exchanged that night.

I hope it becomes a mark that connects the restaurant and people's memories.

The origin of the "taste" of the owner who has walked a long path as a chef, and the "colors" of the many people he will meet from now on.
Those two things are tied together in the name "AJI圩," and a new entrance to a story is born in Kabukicho.

——I have depicted such a beautiful future in these two logos.

May many people, flavors, and smiles gather at the restaurant that you and your husband will nurture from now on, and may each night bloom like a beautiful hydrangea.
Thank you so much for this wonderful opportunity✹
