Cherry Blossoms, Honeybees, and Damien Hirst
I found cherry blossoms in full bloom.

When I got closer, I saw a lot of honeybees gathered there.
I've never seen so many honeybees on a cherry tree before.
In the past, I think I would have instinctively run away, thinking, 'I'll get stung!'
But as I watched the honeybees flying busily between the cherry blossoms, I found myself getting quite close.
It was almost as if I could hear the honeybees saying, 'Yum, yum, yum, yum.'
They were diving into the flowers, drinking the nectar as if it were delicious.
As I looked up at the cherry blossoms in full bloom, Damien Hirst's 'Cherry Blossoms' came to mind.
It was around this time three years ago that I went to see them at The National Art Center, Tokyo.
Even though I saw cherry blossoms last year and the year before, I didn't remember them.
These cherry blossoms and the blue sky looked just like Damien's colors.
