It's not too late! Fuji Rock preparations
I had given up on Fuji Rock this year due to various circumstances, but ever since The Killers were announced as the Friday headliner, I've had an irresistible urge to go...
This made me think, "If the schedule works out, couldn't I still make it happen?"
So, with the theme of “Let's go! Fuji Rock!”, I'll list the preparations you can make starting now.

Step 1: Decide on your dates
As we enter July and the event approaches, don't you start feeling like, "I really want to go!"?
Yes, I feel the same way! I want to go to Naeba, set up a tent, and bathe in music under the vast sky. I want to say "I'm home!" to the mountains of Naeba!
First of all, when planning from now, it's easier to think of an itinerary you can complete on your own (lol).
I'll forget about trying to impress a date for now and plan for a solo trip.

Since I'm still not sure if I can really go, I'll buy the ticket last, but for now, I plan to attend only on Friday.
Even though it's "one day," I want to hang out at the late-night Marquee, so I intend to party from morning until morning.
>> I didn't realize the 2-day tickets were sold out until I wrote this article...
Why did they sell out? (sweat)
Check the artists you want to see

Now that I've decided on the dates, I've narrowed down the artists I "absolutely must see."
Assuming the lineup list is written in order starting from the headliner of each stage, I can get a rough idea even before the timetable is announced.
>> I've excluded artists I want to see but whose times might overlap (tears).
Also, although it's not listed here, I definitely want to see the US band performing at the <CRYSTAL PALACE TENT>!
If you're staying until late at night, it's better to have a place to stay
By the way, if I'm going to watch late-night performances, I feel more at ease if I have a place to stay.
Considering the distance from the venue and the fact that I'm going solo, I guess camping is the only option?
You can take a break whenever you need to, and if it rains or you get sweaty, you can change clothes immediately, so depending on how you look at it, camping is actually comfortable!
I actually like the <PYRAMID GARDEN> available through bus tours, but it was sold out (what a shame...), so I'm thinking about the campsite this year.
↓ Bullet points below
<Reasons for choosing camping>
・Close to the venue
・There is a women's area
・Can be used by one person
・Can arrive on Thursday (it gets very crowded if you don't go on Thursday)
・I have a tent, so it doesn't cost extra (I actually want to use it)
<Reasons why I think finding accommodation is difficult>
・It generally requires at least 3 people to book
・Accommodations available for one person are usually large shared rooms
・You can't choose your accommodation if you book through a tour
・Since shuttle bus operating hours are fixed, staying in a distant area means you can't enjoy the late-night stages
For the reasons above, let's assume we'll be using the campsite!
The problem of being busy on the day of arrival

Depending on the stage, the start time is usually around 11:00 AM. To see the Shin Tokyo live performance, I'd like to be inside the entrance gate by 10:00 AM, but...
If you leave on Friday morning, you'll have to wait in line for the shuttle bus at Echigo-Yuzawa Station (the bus ride takes about 40 minutes), and wristband exchange can also be crowded and time-consuming depending on the timing.
Isn't it a waste to lose that time and not be able to see the live performances, even though you bought a Friday ticket?
Above all, if you don't set up your tent on Thursday, you won't be able to secure a convenient spot. To spend your time comfortably at the campsite, it seems best to leave on Thursday.
<Challenges for setting up a tent in the ideal spot at the campsite>
・The campsite opens at 12:00 PM
・Shuttle bus service from Echigo-Yuzawa Station also starts at 12:00 PM
・It seems there is a local bus once an hour starting from 8:00 AM?
・A taxi ride costs about 10,000 yen?
Hmm, I think I'll just stop thinking about it for now and plan to arrive in Yuzawa around 11:00 AM (sweat). Setting up the tent will be left to luck!
Step-1 Summary
In the end, it depends on my physical condition, so I won't push myself too hard, but
Going to Fuji Rock is tough, but planning the trip, thinking about which artists to see from the timetable, and discussing it with others.
This preparation time is so much fun.
And there is definitely an excitement that can only be found in that place! Saying 'experiencing music with all five senses' might be a bit of an exaggeration (lol), but it has that much power!
It's definitely not too late, so if you're thinking of going, please try planning it!
Finally, I'll post a video of The Killers' live performance.
I really want to hear Mr. Brightside!
