💫 For tired moms. A night routine to regain your kindness
You did your best today, too❣️
(Me too)
The quiet night that finally arrives after the children are asleep.
But in reality, instead of feeling relieved...
"I got angry again"
"I didn't do things properly"
"Maybe I'm a bad mother"
Many moms end up
blaming themselves like that.
A day when you can't be kind to your children
is a day when you haven't been kind to yourself.
That is exactly why
I want you to have time at the end of the day
to regain your "own kindness."
I will introduce the night routine
that I discovered myself while raising five children.
1. Just drinking warm water slowly is fine
At night, just 5 minutes is enough.
Close your smartphone and TV,
and slowly drink some warm water or herbal tea.
By focusing only on "drinking,"
it will gently loosen the thoughts
of a mom who has been working so hard.
"I am here right now"
If you can regain that feeling,
that is enough.
2. Write down 3 "good things" from today
No matter how hard the day was,
"My child smiled at me"
"I was able to hang out the laundry"
"The miso soup was delicious"
Any small thing is OK.
People's hearts are pulled
in the direction they focus on.
Instead of "what I couldn't do,"
make it a habit to look at "what I could do."
Before you go to sleep,
please try writing it down
in a notebook or a memo on your phone.
3. Place your hand on your shoulder and say "Thank you for your hard work"
It is very simple, but
actually, this is the self-care that healed me the most.
Instead of waiting for someone else
to say "thank you" to you,
it is a habit of rewarding yourself.
"Thank you for living through today"
Let's say words like that to ourselves.
In closing
Moms are always working hard for someone else.
But you know,
only when a mom's heart is full
can she be kind to her children.
First, try incorporating
one thing that seems doable
starting today.
"Thank you for your hard work today, too"
I send these words to you who read this🌿
