The author, Kazuo Shimizu, was someone who contributed to both occult magazines like 'Mu' and orthodox scientific magazines like 'Sias'. This kind of stance is rare. It is a pity that he passed away in 2009.

In this book, the author carefully explains occult phenomena rumored in society while providing concrete examples. If you gather evidence properly, you will realize that 'nothing that can be called a paranormal phenomenon has actually occurred'.

For example, in the section on psychic powers, the book describes the time Uri Geller conducted a 'public clairvoyance experiment'. It was an 'experiment' where Uri Geller would guess the color of a woman's outfit while blindfolded.
