[My Story Part 1] The reason why Marimo is standing here now as a 'singer'

Hello everyone. This is Marimo.

It has been a little while, but Marimo's new venture, the [Creating Your Own 'Story' (Profile)] project, is finally getting into full swing.

Saying, 'First, I will be the guinea pig myself!', starting from this time, I will seriously answer 5 questions created by myself in a 5-part series.

The memorable first question is, '1. Present: What kind of activities are you doing now? What do you value in those activities?'

So, let's get started♪

'1. Present: What kind of activities are you doing now? What do you value in those activities?'

In a word, I am currently a 'singer' and a 'picture book author'.

As the music reading unit 'Comment Allez-Vous', I am active in a unique style that expresses stories born from within me (currently the picture book 'Takeshi-kun's Straw Hat') by combining music and reading.

This style is a unique performance unit that arrived at stage expression, delivering original stories through reading and music, while developing live stages with various arrangements and expressions at the 'Marimo Concert', an event I have hosted since shortly after my debut.

Sometimes, I also stand on stage in a self-accompanied singing style.

In my self-accompanied stage performances, my trademark is the gap between my voluminous, non-stop talking MC and the way the world view changes completely once the singing begins.

I want to vividly draw out all the emotions of 'joy, anger, sorrow, and pleasure'—the laughter, tears, sadness, and anger—that exist in the hearts of those who listen, through my expression.

My stage is a time filled with love, intended to gently, and sometimes intensely, shake the heart of you who have come.

...And so, I have answered '1. Present' with all my might for now!

Having answered the question myself, I am reconfirming, 'Ah, Marimo really wants to move and liberate someone's emotions.'

Next time, I will talk about the <<intense trigger>> that led me to abandon the stability of being a 'physical therapist' and pursue this path of 'song'.
