Using Your Love for Your Oshi as an Engine: A 1-Month Rebirth Program
Introduction: Why I Created This
Hello!
I was once an otaku who lost sight of myself because I loved my oshi too much. Days when I got a response were heaven, and days when I didn't were hell. I would look at other fans' tweets, compare myself to them, cry in the middle of the night, and yet I couldn't stop.
So, I studied psychology and received coaching. I also participated in seminars. Through that, my mental state gradually recovered, and now I can enjoy being a fan without falling into despair.
Being a fan... especially in the underground scene, has a negative image, often called toxic or money-grubbing.
Even so, I love this scene. My oshi is cool and cute. There are dreams on stage, and the excitement I feel when taking a cheki is real.
That is precisely why I want everyone—fans and idols alike—to enjoy being a fan.
So, I started posting on note, X, and Question Box.
What I realized after trying it is that it is indeed a fact that some people suffer because they love their oshi so much.
At first, I thought about writing articles recommending seminars and coaching. So, I reread the seminar texts and books.
I suddenly realized something.
None of the materials were created with the premise that 'you have an oshi.'
Self-help books say, 'Stop being dependent on the person you love.' But for us, our love for our oshi is not something to stop. It is the engine of our lives.
That is why I created this. Materials to change yourself, using your love for your oshi as the engine.
Designed by an otaku, for otaku. There is probably nothing else like this material anywhere.
I am just an otaku who loves psychology. That is precisely why I had an active coach carefully review the design of the exercises. I believe that the parts about 'how to translate into action' and 'how to remove mental blocks' could not have been created with just knowledge of psychology alone.
Three commitments of this program
1. Exclusively for those who have an oshi; the more intense your love, the more effective it is
There is probably no other material for changing yourself in the context of being a fan. You don't have to stop loving your oshi. You will change yourself by using that love as an engine.
2. Supervised by an active coach
Designed based on psychology, and the exercises were polished with the help of an active coach. It is structured so that you can properly translate it into action, rather than just 'reading and finishing'.
3. Can be done anytime, as many times as you like
You can start anytime with just a notebook and pen, and you can stop anytime. You are free to resume. After one month ends, you can use it for the next month as well. I made it a lifelong exercise that you can use even if your oshi changes.
About the 5,000 yen price tag
5,000 yen is my personal commitment.
Being an otaku costs money. Moreover, nowadays, the cost of chekis, drinks, and concerts is constantly rising. Among that, I wanted to give the best possible thing to you who chose to spend money on yourself. I wanted to keep it equal to or less than the cost of attending one concert.
The seminars I used to attend were mostly 10,000 to 20,000 yen per day. Also, the market rate for coaching is about 10,000 to 30,000 yen per hour. I polished it a lot, so the coach who supervised it told me, 'Since the content has changed, you should double the price,' but that would defeat the purpose.
Let me start by telling you one important thing.
This program changes only as much as you put into it.
You won't change just by reading. If you ask, "I paid for it, so I'll change, right?" the answer is NO. However, those who actually do the work will definitely change. I have seen it many times.
Rest assured. I have explained everything so that anyone can understand it, including the points where people often stumble. You can definitely do this too.
Recommended for people like this
You love being a fan, but you feel a vague sense of unease.
It was supposed to be happy at first, but before you knew it, you became exhausted.
You feel guilty toward your oshi, thinking, "I'm sorry for being this kind of fan" or "I need to try harder."
You feel down when comparing yourself to other fans.
You find it hard to like yourself.
You want to cherish both yourself and your oshi.
Not recommended for people like this
Those who want to control their oshi or whose only goal is to connect with them.
Those who want to change without doing the work.
Through this program, you will change in the following ways.
Week 1: Forgiving Yourself
You feel sick from comparing yourself to others, yet you still love your oshi. We start by pouring out all those messy, honest feelings and accepting them completely.
Week 2: If Your Wishes Could Come True
What kind of relationship do you want with your oshi? How do you really want to live? Once your heart is clean, this is the week to face your true feelings.
Week 3: Not Just for Your Oshi, but for You
A week to think about what you can do and take action. Using your love for your oshi as an engine, you will take a step forward for your own sake.
Week 4: Putting It into Words and Solidifying It
Turn the changes of this month into words and make them your assets. With this, you can continue to be the person you like, both in your fan life and your personal life, even after this month.
Are you ready to be reborn? Then, let's begin!
⚠️ About how to read (This is important, so please be sure to read it)
This program is designed so that you read every corner of it each week and complete the work before moving on.
Reading everything at once and doing it later will reduce the effectiveness. For one week, please focus only on that week's tasks. That alone will lead to completely different results.
Week 0: Preparation - "Getting your own personal bible"
Before starting the program, there is something I want you to do first.
[Mission 1] Go to a nearby variety store or stationery shop and buy "a notebook and pen that make your heart flutter for your own sake".
Ex) Something in your favorite's member color
Something with a design that gets you excited just by holding it
Many fans spend tens of thousands of yen on merchandise or photo tickets for their favorite, but they skimp on even a 100-yen notebook for themselves. That "habit of putting yourself last" is actually the root cause of your emotional slump.
This notebook will become the "bible for you to be reborn"—no one else's.
[Mission 2] Please write these two things on the first page of your notebook.
1) "What would make you happy to be like in one month?"
It doesn't have to be a big goal. Something like "I hope I can enjoy myself at the live event" or "I'd be happy if I stopped comparing myself to others and crying" is enough.
2) "What will you give yourself for working hard?"
Decide on a reward for yourself in one month. It could be a photo of your favorite, a slightly expensive sweet, or the right to be lazy for a day. This will be the gasoline that keeps you running for this month.
Once you are ready, please proceed to Week 1.
Week 1: [Mindset] "Emotional cleansing" to fully affirm your messy self
The first week is a week to just get used to writing.
✍️ This week's work: Emotional Journaling
