[iPad] The only way for students to use an iPad
Although this is aimed at students,
if I write this under the category of studying,
the iPad is extremely well-suited for it.
If you scan all your reference books and manage them in a note-taking app,
you can write on them,
and you can lighten your load without having to carry around heavy reference books and notebooks.
Also, since there is a lot of online learning these days, there are many situations where a device is necessary.
It is very convenient because you can also record everything at once.
You can also use the Split View feature to open textbooks and notebooks separately, making it easier to write reports and the like.
(Since Split View is a feature that splits the screen in two, I recommend the 13-inch model)
How students should use an iPad
1. Use it as a notebook
• Apps: Notability, GoodNotes, OneNote
• Method: Record class content by hand or write directly on PDF textbooks. It is convenient to be able to separate digital notebooks by subject.
2. Recording and reviewing classes
• Apps: Zoom, Microsoft Teams, YouTube
• Method: Record online classes or review class content via video. You can repeatedly check parts you don't understand.
3. Presentations and document creation
• Apps: Keynote, Canva, Microsoft PowerPoint
• Method: Easily create presentation materials or school assignments. Achieve a highly designed finish.
4. Study planning and task management
• Apps: Todoist, Notion, Google Calendar
• Method: Manage homework and exam schedules, visualize progress, and study efficiently.
5. Dictionaries and research tools
• Apps: Dictionary apps (English-Japanese/Japanese-English dictionaries), Safari, Google Scholar
• Method: Convenient for looking up words instantly or conducting research.
6. Exam preparation and study apps
• Apps: Quizlet, Anki, Study Sapuri
• Method: Memorize words and terms, or repeatedly solve exam preparation problems.
7. Illustration and creative activities
• Apps: Procreate, Adobe Fresco
• Method: Art students can create works digitally. More detailed corrections are possible compared to drawing by hand.
8. Learning code and programming
• Apps: Swift Playgrounds, Pythonista
• Method: Utilize the best tools for learning the basics of programming.
