Turning 'Three-Day Quitting' into a Strength! How HSS-type HSPs Can Leverage Their 'Fickleness'
âTo all HSS-type HSPs who worry that they can't stick with anything
âIâm interested, but my interest shifts to something else right awayâŠâ
âI decide to do something, but in the end, nothing sticks, and I lose confidenceâŠâ
âWhen I get hooked, I dive in all at once, but I run out of energy immediatelyâŠâ
Are you disgusted with yourself and feeling down, thinking, âI failed againâ?
But that isn't ânot sticking with things,â it is âa talent for generating new possibilities one after another.â
HSS-type HSPs aren't âfickle,â but rather
characterized by having âcuriosity stronger than anyone else.â
That is precisely why, if you choose a way of working and living that leverages those traits, they turn into a one-of-a-kind personality and talent!
Whatâs important isn't the âeffort to continue,â but âfinding a style that suits you.â âThings you didn't stick withâ = âProof that it didn't suit you.â
In other words, there is no need to force yourself to try hard to âmaster one thing!â
HSS-type HSPs are geniuses at experiencing things âbroadly and shallowlyâ and creating their âown unique styleâ from that.
So, how can you turn ânot sticking with thingsâ into a âtalentâ?
In this Note, I will share â3 steps for HSS-type HSPs to leverage their curiosity and succeed.â
If you put this method into practice,
â You can make what you love your job!
â You will stop blaming yourself for being âfickleâ!
â Your curiosity will turn into money one after another!
â You can build âyour own brandâ!
Letâs understand the traits of HSS-type HSPs and adopt âmethods that suit youâ instead of âmethods that don't suit you.â
ã3 Steps for HSS-type HSPs to Turn Curiosity into Talentã
âš Step 1: Letâs create an âImagination Mapâ
HSS-type HSPs are characterized by having extremely high imagination.
â When you learn something, application ideas pop up immediately!
â You come up with new ideas one after another!
â You have an infinite number of âI want to try this!â things!
On the other hand,
â You have too many ideas and can't organize themâŠ
â The things you want to do keep changingâŠ
â As a result, nothing takes shapeâŠ
You tend to struggle with these kinds of worries.
What is important here is to âorganize your imagination into a single map.â
ð Practical Action: Make a list of things you are interested in!
For those who feel, âI just have too many things I want to do!â, it is important to first write them down and organize them. For example...
Fortune-telling
Counseling
Illustration
YouTube
Social media posting
Psychology
Side hustles
Marketing
Please try writing them down first.
âš Step 2: âConnect related genres!â
When you are told to âspecialize in one field,â don't you feel like running away, as an HSS-type HSP?
I was also a fortune teller by trade, but because there are so many types of fortune-telling I like, I couldn't narrow down my methods, and I struggled a lot in the early stages of starting my business.
This is because even in business schools, you are taught to ânarrow down your target and become a specialist in one thing.â
But I like Four Pillars of Destiny, I like horoscopes, and I also like the Mayan calendar.
I felt uncomfortable lying to my heart, so during regular counseling sessions, I make it a point to use about two of my favorite types of fortune-telling plus card reading.
(I also choose cards from Lenormand, Oracle, or Tarot depending on my intuition for the day and the content of the consultation.)
Actually, what makes HSS-type HSPs successful is:
â âCombine what you like to create an original field.â
â âTurn your shifting interests into a strength.â
â âEstablish a style of constantly challenging yourself with new things.â
Let's try combining the things you are interested in to âmix your individuality.â
When you organize your various interests into a âconnected form,â you may see new possibilities that are unique to you.

By doing this, you can âcombine the things you like to create a one-of-a-kind strength that is uniquely yours.â
Rather than âmastering one thing,â HSS-type HSPs are better suited to âfusing the things they like to create new value.â
The important point is not to focus on one thing, but to âcombine your individual traits.â
âš Step 3: âStart small and prevent overload.â
HSS-type HSPs often fall into the pattern of âtrying to do everything at once and burning out.â
â âWhen you think, âThis is it!â, you immediately rush in with 100% effort!â
â âWhen you lose motivation, you abandon it completely!â
â âRepeating that, you end up not continuing...â
That is exactly why 'starting small' is the key!
ð Practical Actions
â If posting on social media, try just one post a day!
â If starting a business, begin with free testers!
â Instead of jumping into high-ticket items, try selling a 500-yen product!
By repeating the cycle of 'start small â observe reactions â improve,'
you can shape your ideas while finding a style that suits you!

âš Summary: HSS-type HSPs succeed not by 'sticking to one thing,' but through 'multiplication'!
HSS-type HSPs don't 'fail to stick to one thing,' but ratherâ
â¡ Did you realize you have the talent to 'leverage your curiosity to create new value'?
'Curiosity à Strategy' allows you to:
â Turn your 'passions' into work!
â Turn the 'struggle of not sticking to things' into a talent!
â Build your own unique brand!
Leverage your unique traits and
âš attain a path where you can live freely using your curiosity as a weapon!
For a long time, I thought my short attention span was a 'bad habit I had to fix.'
But now, I see it differently. Getting bored is just a sign that the next interest is coming.
It just means your sensitivity is broad and your curiosity is genuine.
AI art, fortune-telling, Kindle publishing, social media posting... the fact that my activities are so diverse is thanks to my short attention span. It is all connected.
