Maybe it's not normal. But here is the story of a 'too-free relationship' that has lasted 13 years
We meet once a week, yet we have a 'too-free relationship' that has lasted 13 years, despite occasionally going over a month without any contact.
Even though we meet normally once a week, I sometimes realize we haven't been in touch at all for over a month.
Even so, this relationship has lasted 13 years.
This is not a 'distant relationship'
First of all, this is not a distant relationship, nor is it a cold one. In fact, when we are together, it is a proper romance, we get along well, and I think we are quite affectionate.
It's just that we are both far too free.
We prioritize our own lives, and when we get absorbed in work or plans with friends, we realize that the very concept of 'getting in touch' has slipped our minds.
As a result, there are times when we have absolutely no contact for over a month.
But that doesn't cause the relationship to fall apart.
When we met, I didn't think it would turn into a romance
We met a while after I got divorced.
He was someone I never expected to have a romance with. We are both divorced ( ;∀;)×××××one
It wasn't a special beginning, but before I knew it, the time we spent together kept adding up.
And just like that, 13 years have passed.
And just like that, 13 years have passed.
A relationship without rules feels the most comfortable
There are no general rules for this relationship.
Sometimes we meet once a week, and sometimes we go a while without seeing each other because our schedules don't align.
But none of that is ever a problem.
When we meet, things go back to normal, and even if there's a gap, we just end it with, "That's how it is, right?"
Even if there is a blank space, we always come back to each other properly.
We also go on trips together once every two or three months.
At those times, the distance between us closes instantly, as if that blank time never existed.
In fact, the feeling of "it's been a while" is so faint that it feels like we've been together the whole time from the very beginning.
It functions as a romantic relationship, but the way we manage it is just too free.
I think it is definitely a romantic relationship.
It's just that the "way of managing the relationship" is a little unusual.
When we are together, I like them properly, and even when we are apart, the relationship doesn't disappear.
But in our daily lives, there are times when we both completely forget about each other's existence for a moment. lol
Before I knew it, it had been going on for 13 years.
It might not be normal.
But it has lasted, and properly so.
And I think this relationship is probably not one that we consciously maintain, but rather one that has naturally continued while remaining too free.
