My First Solo Trip in Over 10 Years
It has been eight years since my child was born.
It has been nine years since I got married.
I have always been with my family.
If the children wanted to go somewhere, my husband and I would plan it and take them. Our family has always revolved around the children. And I was happy with that.
Recently, my husband's work has been busy, and he often has to stay away on business trips once a week. During those times, I have held down the fort and taken care of the children.
And now, I am going on a solo trip to Okayama!
The trigger was an offline meetup for the writer community, Web Writer Lab. When I saw it, a feeling of "I want to go" welled up inside me.
There are many people I want to meet in Okayama.
People I am personally connected with through the community.
People who support me when I take on new challenges
People who are there for me regarding my son's development
People I consult with when I try something new
People who are expanding their work and thriving
But it is also true that when you have children, you cannot move around lightly.
Let's meet sometime
I would say that, but it never happened. I have learned the hard way that if I don't take action, nothing will happen.
I have experienced many connections fading away just like that.
Even as a mom,
even as a wife,
I am still me.
I want to do what I want to do!
Thinking that, I talked to my husband.
How incredibly important human connections are for a freelancer. And that I want to go meet the people who have helped me.
My husband gave me the OK without any fuss.
Perhaps I am the one who is unexpectedly setting the bar too high.
I feel there is no difference between a company employee going on a business trip and a freelancer networking.Perhaps it was good that I was able to convey that confidently without feeling inferior?
Also, in our home, we share parenting equally.
It has become a daily routine for one of us to cover for the other when one is away.
I can feel firsthand that my husband's opportunities are expanding recently. I want to support his hard work!
I supported him with that thought in mind, butperhaps my husband felt the same way.
I paid for the airfare and participation fees from my earnings so far. I am savoring the gratitude for money.
If I decide that I will become more prosperous, the number of people I can meet in person will increase. By talking to those people, I might be able to give them something.
Receiving money means expanding the circle of circulating prosperity. Through that, I can support the people I am connected with!
I will be sure to thank money properly and intend to receive even more prosperity from here on out.
After all, I am going to become a speaker who flies all over the country.
Any new action encourages new discoveries and self-awareness. That is why I love challenges!
Now, I will fully embrace the open atmosphere of the airport and set off on my journey!

What is it that you want to challenge yourself with?
Is there anything you are limiting your actions on due to your own assumptions?
May you be able to take another look at the world you truly want to choose.
