A budget smartwatch was enough! Highly recommended!

Hello, this is Yanagi.
I switched from an Apple Watch I'd used for three years to a budget smartwatch that cost less than 3,000 yen, and for my lifestyle, this is more than enough.

I believe it cost about 30,000 yen when I first bought it.
When I first got an Apple Watch, my quality of life improved so much that it felt like the world I saw was completely different from before.

Just being able to see my step count made me more conscious of exercise.
I was surprised at how comfortable it was to be able to check the time and smartphone notifications right on my wrist.

Honestly, just these two things really bumped my lifestyle up a notch. It's true.
Also, the timer vibrates on my wrist, which was convenient for quick naps during lunch breaks, so I used it every day.

A subtly wonderful feature is the "Find My iPhone" function.
When I wondered where my phone went, being able to make it ring with a button on my wrist was a lifesaver.

…Yes, these were pretty much the only features I was using.
I didn't use Suica, didn't track my sleep, didn't make calls from my wrist, and didn't use Siri, so for my level of lifestyle, these features were truly all I needed to be comfortable.

So, I tried a budget smartwatch, and this is the story of how it was necessary and sufficient.
I can tell the time, check notifications, use a timer, and find my phone, after all!

It was so cheap I was actually worried, but it has the minimum features I need comfortably.

If I had to list the downsides, or things that bother me…

・The screen is bigger than I thought and has a presence on my wrist
(Even though I avoided products that advertised a large screen, it's still big for a woman's wrist)

・Even after setting the watch face, it sometimes reverts to the default
(The screen changes on its own. I think this defect is why it was so cheap (lol))

・Compared to the Apple Watch, the operability and response are definitely slower
(Well, it's one-tenth the price, so it would be strange to complain)

・It lacks the subtle features I used on the Apple Watch
(It's not an Apple Watch, so that's to be expected)

・Even for me, an average woman, I have to use the second hole from the bottom for the strap, so I think women with thin wrists won't be able to use it because it will spin around

That's about it; it's truly necessary and sufficient.
My previous smartwatch was in its third year and the battery wouldn't last a day, but this one is fine even if I wear it for about a week, which is also comfortable!

Including the strap, it's nice that the exterior doesn't look that cheap.
I don't think the dial needs to be red, but I've gotten used to it and it doesn't bother me anymore.

I didn't really care if it had GPS or not, or rather I haven't been able to utilize it so I don't know, but I think it's amazing that it's included despite being so cheap.
I'm happy because I feel like I made a good purchase that was cheap and had everything I needed.
