Intestinal Malrotation Diary 2025: 'Discharge'

Friday the 31st, 14th day of hospitalization, discharge day.
I slept for nearly 8 hours, though it was broken up, but I am still incredibly sleepy.

Although I have some anticipatory anxiety about my stomach, I am relieved for now because I am passing gas and having bowel movements properly.

However, since I used a lot of antibiotics and all the good and bad bacteria in my gut have been wiped out, I plan to actively consume fermented foods after discharge.

I finished packing and was discharged without any issues.

I arrived home in no time, but I feel an immense sense of fatigue. I'm sleepy but can't sleep, and I stopped by the shop before evening to take care of chores that had piled up during my hospital stay.

My child said, 'Daddy, I missed you!' and I was incredibly happy. I missed you too, kiddo!

In the evening, I couldn't maintain my posture due to muscle weakness and had to lie down. I realize that the damage from two weeks of hospitalization and 11 days of fasting is quite significant.

However, I was able to eat normally, and I want to gradually increase my daily experiences to reassure myself. I'm feeling my way in the dark, but I will create my own guidelines!

And I will stay disciplined so that I don't get used to that life again, forget, and end up overeating, binge eating, or eating too fast.

I don't drink or smoke, but when it comes to work, I tend to push myself too hard and lose control, so I want to make sure I listen well to my wife, who tells me this regularly, and try to put on the brakes.

Once again, thanks to the support of many people, the twist was resolved and I was able to be discharged without surgery.

I am grateful to my family, friends, doctors, nurses, physical therapists, nutritionists, everyone involved in my treatment, those who encouraged me on social media, and everyone who read this blog.

Thank you very much.

I have never had an experience as painful as this one. But precisely because of that, there are many things I realized, and I think I can apply them to my life from here on out.

I have actually received messages, and I imagine there are many people who had surgery for intestinal malrotation when they were young and are now suffering from adhesive bowel obstruction as adults.

Thinking about that, I have come to believe that my mission is to reach out to those people.

Therefore, I intend to establish a fund to help people with intestinal malrotation, scoliosis, and other health issues using the money earned from my current art project, 'my back bone,' and the business I am preparing to launch.

I am thinking that I would like to work to reach out to many people, earn and collect a lot of money, and share it, so I would like to ask for your cooperation.

When that time comes, please become my partner and work with me. Please!

Thank you for reading until the end.

And if there is anyone suffering from intestinal malrotation, please contact me! Let's share information so that we can all live as healthy a life as possible!

And finally, being born with a healthy body, without any abnormalities and with all limbs intact, is truly a miracle and a blessing.

I want people who were born with such a miraculous body to cherish themselves. I want you to take care of it. I truly feel that way from the bottom of my heart.

And I am doing the wonderful job of helping with that.

I will continue to work so that I can be involved in the health of as many people as possible, so please consult me if you have any issues. I will respond within the scope of what I can answer.

And please come to my clinic. I provide a place to create an opportunity to face yourself and a time to feel relieved.

I am waiting for you.
Thank you very much!
