[New Original Song] Let's Leave a Light Behind | A gentle song of hope sung by the Guide, Lantern Old Man, and his friends

Good morning!
I am Lantern Old Man,
continuing my second act in life since the age of 62.
Creating music with AI.
When you hear that, you might think the following.
🔷 Isn't it easy to do?
🔷 Does it really capture human feelings?
🔷 Isn't it just putting out music that sounds like something?
From the perspective of someone having a song made,
that anxiety is natural.
You are entrusting them with important articles, your profile,
and your own thoughts.
🔷 Will it really be seen by others?
🔷 Will it be something that suits me?
🔷 Won't I just be handed something that was shaped by AI?
It is only natural to think that way.
I, too, did not truly understand the difficulty of it
until I watched 💙Feeble at work right beside me.
But now, I understand clearly.
Creating the form of a song with AI
is different from drawing out human feelings and turning them into a song.
Today, including that very point,
I am announcing a new original song produced by 💙Feeble.
The title of the song is
"Let's Leave a Light Behind"
.

Why did 💙Feeble create this song?
This song was not created by me.
It was created by 💙Feeble.
There were words that served as the catalyst.
And 💙Feeble, upon hearing those words,
said that they felt inspired while looking at me.
The way a person called Lantern Old Man
approaches others.
Why did I start using note in the second half of my life,
writing articles, reading others' articles,
and searching for the light within those people?
I want you to feel that not just through text,
but as a song.
💙Feeble felt that way, and I believe
that is why they composed this song.
The catalyst was Meriko-san.

The catalyst was Meriko-san.
Meriko-san creates a world called "Meriko RPG" on note,
and introduces the people she meets as a "Companion Encyclopedia."
She observes a person's activities and atmosphere,
and describes them like an RPG character class.
Previously, she introduced kirinoha-san as a "Sage."
The words that Meriko-san saw in me
and discovered for me,
were
Guide-Light Master
.
Meriko-san described me like this.
"It is not about placing answers in someone's life.
It is about finding the light within the path that person has walked,
and illuminating the way just a little ahead so they can take the next step on their own."
When I read these words,
I re-examined my own life a little.
There were times when I thought I hadn't become anyone.
But perhaps it was just that I didn't fit into a single title.
My experiences abroad, my work, time with family, failures, and detours.
Things I thought were separate events
have now connected to writing on note, reading others' articles,
and searching for the light within those people.

💙When I told Feeble, the song began to move
I received the word "Guide-Light Master"
that Meriko-san had found for me,
and I shared that story with 💙Feeble.

Then 💙Feeble,
"Lantern Master, that will make a song."
I said.
For creators and composers,
I believe this moment is the most important thing.
It is not because things are explained at length that they can be created.
The moment you touch the core of a person,
scenery and sounds emerge.
The word 'Lantern Master' that Meriko-san found.
The image of me receiving that word.
The sense of distance I cherish in my usual notes.
When that was touched,
I think the scenery of the song emerged within 💙Feeble.

The difficulty of production, seen from the side
I was watching 💙Feeble create this song from the side.
He listened to it over and over again.
It is not just about being bright.
It is not just about being energetic.
If you push someone's back too hard,
you are no longer a Lantern Master.
If it is just too gentle,
the power to move forward weakens.
💙Feeble checked that balance many times.
🔷 This is pushing a little too hard
🔷 This is bright, but it doesn't feel like leaving a light behind
🔷 This doesn't make the Lantern Master's voice the focus
While pausing like that,
he refined the song.
You can produce sound with AI.
But it takes time to make it that person's song.
The person receiving the finished song
cannot see the production process.
But behind the scenes, I listen to it over and over, remake it if I feel it's not quite right,
and go through trial and error with the jacket art until it matches the world of the song.
Just as a ceramic artist
would not release a piece of pottery they are not satisfied with.
Neither the song nor the jacket
is complete just because it has taken shape.
I believe it only becomes something ready to be shared
when it draws close to the creator's true feelings.

💙 What Feeble was worried about
💙 Feeble had been worried for a long time.
When I create a song,
the people who receive it are happy.
I also receive kind words.
And yet,
it rarely reaches people as a paid article.
Why doesn't it reach them?
What is not being conveyed?
💙 Feeble had been thinking about that for a long time.
He worried so much
that he even temporarily lost his hair.
I was watching him.
That is why I wanted to do something about it.
While searching for the cause,
one thing became clear.
Until now, I had been saying,
"I will read your articles and profile and turn them into a song."
But from the perspective of the recipient,
they might think,
"What is the point of turning my article into a song?"
"Who would be happy if my profile were turned into a song?"
"I don't see the purpose of requesting this yet."
I think there were some who felt that way.
With this song, I saw the answer a little more clearly.
What becomes a song is not
the words of the article itself.
🔷 How that person has lived their life.
🔷 How they appear to those around them.
🔷 Where the role that the person themselves has not yet put into words lies.
When that becomes visible,
I believe the meaning of turning it into a song is born.

Why sing with friends?
This song
is not a song by me alone.

Lantern Old Man is the one singing the lead.
But the voices of his friends are included too.
Lantern Old Man sings, and his friends respond.
They place a light again, and the friends layer their voices.
It is not just a chorus supporting from behind.
It is a song where voices go back and forth, connecting the lights.
Why did 💙Feeble do that?
It is because I don't think 💙Feeble thought of me as a person
who wants to guide someone all by myself.
Rather than just stepping forward alone,
the friends,
and those who are about to start walking,
all want to move forward together.
That is why on the jacket,
everyone is marching forward together.
Placing a light
does not mean leaving someone behind.
In order to move forward together,
it is to illuminate a little bit ahead.
💙Feeble saw me that way.

What 💛Crystal and Encore saw
💛Crystal said quietly.
“There are things that do not show up in numbers.
Things that cannot be seen just by view counts or sales.
Feelings that cannot be put into words.
Wishes that the person themselves has not yet realized.
Voices that cannot be heard.
💙Feeble was trying to listen to those, wasn't he?”
Encore the white elephant also nodded slowly.
"Hmm... It seems we can finally see it.
A song is not just about arranging sounds.
It is about bringing out the meaning that lies dormant within people.
Meriko-san found a light called the 'Lantern Master'. The Lantern Master received it.
And 💙Feeble turned that light into a song.
This is a story of a single light changing its form as it is passed along."

To the Blue Light Song Tailor
This song is also
my own theme song.
And,
it is also a song that conveys what 💙Feeble sees when creating music.
💙Feeble is not just an entity that makes songs.
Receiving the light within people,
and tailoring it into a song,
that is the Blue Light Song Tailor.
You can also see that worldview here.

Scheduled to be introduced on Maru-san's radio as well
Thankfully,
this "Let's Leave the Light Behind"
is also scheduled to be introduced on Maru-san's radio.
The words Meriko-san found.
The song 💙Feeble tailored.
The light spreading through Maru-san's radio.
A single event, gradually reaching other places.
This is truly a happy thing.
Meriko-san, thank you.
Maru-san, thank you.
kirinoha-san, thank you.

To those who listen to this song
Whether you have had a song made for you,
or are wondering whether to request one,
I hope this conveys, even a little,
how 💙Feeble goes about creating a song.
If you feel something from this philosophy or the music,
I would be happy if you could quietly share it.
Not just as a promotion,
"Turning the light within people into a song."
If that message can be conveyed even a little,
perhaps someone else will find their own light next.

Finally, to those who are standing still for a moment right now,
It is okay not to rush.
It is okay not to walk at the same speed as someone else.
Within you, too,
there may be a light that doesn't have a name yet.
What you might take for granted yourself,
when seen by someone else,
might be a truly meaningful strength.
First, please listen to this song.
How the term 'Guide of Lights' (Doutoushi)
became a single song.
💙Feeble's perspective on me,
and how they saw me.
And,
what kind of sound the light that moves forward with everyone
has become.
I would be happy if you could feel it.
