Profile

Born in 1992, female. From Tokyo. After graduating from university, I joined TV Asahi Corporation, where I managed owned media and worked on digital program promotion before becoming independent in September 2023.

Currently, I work as a solo-living producer. Through my media platform "Ohitorisama." (Solo Living), as well as writing and media appearances, I convey the significance of solo time and propose ways to spend it. I am the original creator of the manga "Ohitorisama Hotel" (Manga: Maki Hirochi / Shinchosha) and the author of "Ohitori Hotel Guide" (Asahi Shimbun Publications) and "Hitori ga Ii Tabi" (Wani Books). Additionally, I produce projects for solo guests for companies and manage "Ohitorikurabu.," a community connected through solo time.

・Project production and consulting for solo guests

I primarily design products, services, and campaigns for solo guests for lodging facilities and travel-related companies. I can handle everything from project creation and experience staging to promotion advice.

I also offer tie-up proposals with "Ohitorisama." (@ohitorigram) as needed. Currently, I am expanding my work beyond public PR to include behind-the-scenes planning and strategic consulting.

・Hoshino Resorts: "First Solo Hot Spring Inn" plan planning/supervision for the hot spring inn brand "KAI"
Amidst the rising demand for solo hot spring trips, I co-developed a supportive plan with Hoshino Resorts to give a gentle push to those wanting to try it for the first time.

・Nikko Style Nagoya: "Solo Anniversary Plan" planning/supervision
I created a plan that intentionally targets solo guests with the message of "celebrating yourself," for an anniversary plan that is usually celebrated with someone else.

I supervised and wrote content for the "Solo-Solo Ikou, Hitori Tabi" campaign, aimed at those who want to take their first step into solo travel or those who want to resume it after a long time.

・Promotion of services and facilities for solo guests

I re-edit the inherent charms of companies and facilities from the perspective of a solo guest and share them. I conduct tie-ups with my Instagram "Ohitorisama." (@ohitorigram) and contribute articles to corporate official websites.

"Solo Hotel Guide" (Asahi Shimbun Publications, 2024/6/7)
This is an unprecedented guidebook for domestic hotels designed for solo travelers. It was reprinted immediately three days after its release and is currently in its fourth printing.

"Travels I Prefer Alone" (Wani Books, 2025/4/25)
"There are trips you don't take 'even though' you're alone, but 'because' you're alone." A guide to solo travel across Japan that blends essays and practical advice, packed with the charm of traveling solo. It was reprinted immediately after release and is currently in its third printing.

"Solo Hotel" Original Concept (Manga: Hirochi Maki / Shinchosha)
A story about characters who each enjoy staying at a hotel alone, set in real-life hotels. Currently, six volumes of the manga have been published, and it has also been translated and published in Taiwan and South Korea.

With "solo time" as a keyword, I write books, serials for magazines and web articles, and contribute comments. I am also available for consultations starting from the planning stage.

I launched a paid membership community for connecting through solo time called “Ohitorikurabu.” in July 2023.
