Nei-sama

Dwelling in the stone,

I believe Nei-sama's work consists of words that were born to be written by Nei-sama. I see them in a beautiful, translucent color. Thank you very much.

A little aside.
Did you notice? Shakujii Park. The theme this time, 'stone' (ishi), was taken from here. Currently, the 'Oki-Poem & Wordplay Exhibition' is being held in the gallery on the 2nd floor of the Shakujii Park Furusato Museum. (Yone-chan will not be present at the gallery.) Neko-o-omou (Thinking of Cats)-sama

Tanka

Children dreaming of becoming professional baseball players
compete by throwing stones toward the river

The work by Neko-wo-omou (_,'" ▽ ") is a wonderful tanka depicting children. Dreams are great, aren't they! Memories of playing by throwing stones in a river bring back so many things: the smiles of nostalgic summer friends, the sparkling splashes of water, the sun, and even how we used to choose the stones. Thank you very much (^_^)

Miwarakasu-sama

Kyoka (Comic Tanka)

With a will, a doctor hangs himself, despite having a surviving child,
against my will, I kick a stone.

Miwarakasu-sama's kyoka is quite something! It ends with a stone being kicked away. I read and deciphered it while looking up the differences between 'will' (ishi) and 'will' (ishi), as well as the meanings of 'hanging' (ishi) and 'surviving child' (iko). By having the stone kicked away, I felt as if the current hazy situation was somehow being sent flying. Thank you very much for all the 'ishi' (stones/wills) (^_^)

Tomone-sama

"The Map You Draw"

I try kicking

a stone that was rolling on the road

On the asphalt

As if tapping it with my toe

Making a clicking, clicking, clicking sound

It rolls away

Tomone-sama's work is warm and overflowing with hope and light. I feel that only Tomone-sama could create a work wrapped in such gentle light with the theme of 'stone.' Thank you so much for this wonderful piece that is pleasant to read and leaves me smiling when I finish it (^_^)

If your body is like a stone, it's inconvenient, isn't it?

Pedestrian B's work is a mysterious Senryu, isn't it? To think that the stone Jizo and Medusa were on such good terms! I thought it might be a cross-cultural exchange, but wait, Medusa turns people to stone when they look at her, right...!? So that means?? Hmm, thank you very much for such a wonderful piece with quite a story behind it (^_^)
