Application Guidelines: ohayou Wordplay Summer 2025 Issue

We are creating the quarterly magazine ohayou Wordplay Summer 2025 Issue.

The theme this time is,

“Palindromes”

The other day, we created the quarterly magazine ohayou Wordplay Spring Issue.

Yone-chan is distributing the Spring Issue in various places (^_^)
We also received some grateful feedback saying it was great! Thank you very much!

We look forward to your participation.

For this summer, we will be creating the quarterly magazine ohayou Wordplay Summer 2025 Issue.

The theme is “Palindromes.” It is a word game where words read the same forwards and backwards. Many of you may already know examples like “shinbunshi” (newspaper) or “takeyabuyaketa” (the bamboo grove burned).

For the Summer Issue, we plan to distribute it via net print, mail order, direct sales at events, and distribution at exhibitions. Obtaining a booklet will cost around 700 yen (including shipping). Of course, you do not have to buy it. If you just want to look at it, we plan to post it as images on note.

1. Palindrome

2. Senryu with a palindrome in the middle seven syllables

Boiling summer Udon is a hassle to the convenience store

3. Dodoitsu with a palindrome in the final five syllables

Yotsuba-chan is actually
a master of
Tai Chi
Yotsuba is strong!

・Palindrome (Kaibun)

A palindrome is something that reads the same forwards and backwards.
