This is completely unrelated, but when Yama-chan was talking about 'Pendulum Train,' was it just my imagination, or did he mispronounce 'played by Mr. Akaso' as 'eijiru by Mr. Akaso'? I can't help but find it funny. Personally, I like slips of the tongue and wordplay.
They are doing a parody of a drama from two years ago. Yama-chan explains that Naoya Kayashima is just cynical, and that he himself is different in real life.
I always think that this program is kind to first-time listeners. Even during free talk, he explains things in detail, and even for topics that are familiar within the show, he explains them without skipping anything. I've never felt left behind by this show. If there's ever a time I've felt left behind, it's probably when he's passionately talking about his favorite movies, games, or manga. Haha.
But since it makes me happy to see Yama-chan having fun, it's all good in the end.

The reason I started liking Yama-chan was 'Goddess' Classroom.' Because of the atmosphere of his character, it started with me thinking, 'Who is this cool guy? I'm curious!' Before I knew it, he became my favorite, and for 'Pendulum Train,' I was in a state of 'I'm definitely watching this because Yuki Yamada is in it!', so it left a huge impression on me. It was such a wonderful role. He was so cool!
Yama-chan is in relaxed mode with Mr. Akaso. It was packed with serious work talk, memories from their high school days, and local talk. The bright psychopath Mr. Akaso and the lonely romanticist Yama-chan.
The segment 'Buddy,' where they see if their answers match, was also a fun project. Above all, the way they both rejoiced when their answers matched was adorable. It really showed how much they were genuinely enjoying the project. What got everyone excited in this segment was the question, 'What is a cool creature that rivals a dragon or phoenix?' Yama-chan said Yamata no Orochi, and Mr. Akaso said Cerberus. Mr. Akaso said he would buy a Cerberus wallet if he saw one! Haha.

In the middle of the night, next to my sleeping children, I laughed out loud! Every bit was funny. I didn't realize that the character Yuto Shirahama could be this funny no matter what he says! I definitely want to hear it again!
And then, the 'Request by Episode' segment where Mr. Akaso played a big role again. His reaction after reading the episode was exactly the same as Yama-chan's usual reaction, which was funny.
Anyway, it was a very, very fun two hours that flew by. I felt like Mr. Akaso had a lot of speaking time, too. I hope he comes back again.
