Breast cancer at the moment my dream came true...

I was 39 when I was offered the studio transfer.
At this age, just before turning 40, I worried and worried about whether I should give up a stable job to start something new...
But could I let such a dream-like opportunity slip away? Owning my own studio had been a dream of mine since I started working in photography, hadn't it? There was no guarantee I would encounter such a miraculous story again.
To turn a dream story into reality, I decided to open the studio when the cherry blossoms were in bloom.

At first, there were few reservations and I was full of anxiety, but as customers gradually increased and I finally started to think, 'This might work,' I was diagnosed with breast cancer.
I touch on it lightly in the manga, but this was the second time I noticed a lump.
When I touched it the first time, I really lost track of it immediately, so I completely forgot about it, but two weeks later, this time, there was a clear feeling that 'something was there'.
I had never really had a proper health checkup, and I had never done a breast cancer self-check, but the reason I was able to notice it was because I had the habit of washing my body with my hands.
Everyone, please try washing with your hands, even if it's just around your breasts. That alone should lead to early detection.
I hope this manga can, even just a little, be close to the feelings of anxiety and loneliness of those who are currently facing breast cancer, or those who have learned that a loved one has breast cancer.
