The video that finally gave me the push to start 'note'
I had been thinking about starting 'note' for a long time.
However, the more I thought about it, the more I worried,
'Will people actually read it if I just scribble down whatever I want?' or,
'I could start on my smartphone, but it's easier to write on a PC, so maybe I should wait until I have some free time,' and,
I even ended up watching videos on YouTube about how to write on note,
'Apparently, it grows better if you set a persona first and narrow down your target audience,' or,
'In this day and age, it's better to use AI prompts to mass-produce articles,' and,
I just kept thinking about doing it without actually starting.
In the midst of all that, this was the video that happened to pop up.
Basically, just write and post it.
Well, that's just too true.
The many videos I've seen about note so far have all insisted that preparation is key.
Make your content consistent, write about health, money, or dating to get more views, and since more views mean more money, add this LINE account to get a free guide, and so on.
This video said to just make the title 'Starting note' and the body 'I wrote this,' and then post it.
It said that since most people watching won't actually start, you'll be in the top 0.1% just by doing that.
It was such an eye-opener—or rather, it was like a dragon jumped out of my eyes and started breathing fire.
That's right, I should just do it.
Well, I did end up writing a fairly substantial amount for my first article.
The thing is, I was listening to this video while working, so I couldn't write it right then and there,
and after I finished listening, I kept thinking about what kind of content I could scribble down without stress, and I settled on the concept of
finding commonalities between 'A' and 'B'.
For now, I'm going to use that concept to scribble down my thoughts on things and topics that interest me.
In Yamada-san's video, he also said,
You can use AI, but don't let it write your text. Scribbling down your own words is the most fun part, so why would you let AI do the strawberry-on-the-shortcake part?
He said that.
He is absolutely right.
However, I am thinking of using AI for things like proofreading my content or asking it to look up information for ideas I have.
I won't just have it write the text and then copy-paste it. I don't think I'd be able to keep it up that way.
Anyway, Kuniaki Yamada-san himself is, of course, on note, and
he said, 'If you post a link, I'll go check it out!'
'Sorry if I miss it!'
So,
I'm going to be bold and post my link.
I'd be happy if he came to check it out.
My thanks to Kuniaki Yamada-san for giving me this motivation.
Thank you very much.
From here on out, I'll continue to write without worrying about how it looks,
no, that's a lie; I'll worry about it a little bit, just enough so it doesn't become a chore.
Well then, I hope you'll come back to read more.
Ogura
