When my handmade clothes were complimented at Komeda, my love for note overflowed.

Something very happy happened today.
It happened when I ordered breakfast at the local Komeda Coffee,

"Your clothes are cute."

I was complimented by a femalestaff member!I think she was probably around 40 years old.

What makes me happy is,
well, the fact that she complimented me is happy in itself.
I think it's quite a high hurdle to strike up a conversation.
Will I sound condescending? Or,
what if I suddenly talk to them and they think it's weird?
Even overcoming that,I'm happy for the sentiment that she wanted to convey the compliment.
Besides, I was wearing earphones, even if it was just one side.
I think it was even harder to talk to me.

In addition to that,

These clothes are handmade!

I'm so happy that she complimented that!
I made these clothes by referring to a pattern book and significantly improving them into my own preferred pattern.
At first, it was just plain red fabric.
In addition, the front design is original.

After finishing the clothes, I designed and hand-sewed black fabric onto them.

Making things I like.
In other words, that is expressing what I like.

In that sense,writing articles on note and doing my hobby of handicrafts might be the same in a way.

Fundamentally, I express because I want to express.
So, maybe getting complimented isn't essential.
But,when there is an opportunity to be complimented, my motivation definitely increases.
Just like today when my clothes were complimented.
However, in handicrafts, there aren't that many opportunities to be complimented by people like today.
But on note, many people read my work every day, and I can get feedback in the form of likes, follows, and comments.

Once again, I was impressed by note's mission.
When I write on note, I feel that they have firmly incorporated this mission into the mechanism for continuing.Notifying me of readers' reactions is certainly one of them.
I also love it when the note system compliments me!
Like, "You've posted for X days in a row!" or,
"X people have seen this article! It's reaching your readers!"
Of course, those are set phrases, but at the point of choosing those words and setting where to display the complimentary phrases,
I feel a lot of love.

The reason I, who am naturally prone to giving up easily, have been able to continue note without being a "three-day monk" is thanks to note.

In the middle of a 1-month writing habit challenge.
Today is the 27th day.
