Vol. 16 A Story About Days When You Lack Confidence #MAZZEL

Recently,
there were days when I found myself thinking,
“Am I actually doing things right?”

Whether at work or at school,
the more everyone around me seems to have it all together,
the more I feel like I’m the only one being left behind.
Even though I know I’m trying my best,
for some reason, I just can’t seem to find any confidence.
Surprisingly, we all have days like that, don't we?

Today,
I’d like to talk about a song that came to mind on one of those nights.

Today’s theme is
“A Story About Days When You Lack Confidence.”

When I was a student,
I somehow thought,
“Once I become an adult, I’ll be able to live with more confidence.”

But in reality,
even as you get older, you still have moments of doubt,
and you still have times when you feel anxious.

There are days when I find myself deep in thought on the way home,
wondering, “Is this the right path?”

When I feel that way, I want to listen to
“MAZZEL / MISSION.”

This song doesn't feel like
“you can only move forward if you’re perfect,”
but rather,
“you can keep moving forward even while you’re lost.”
That’s the vibe I get from it.

Moving forward with passion through the maze of life.
I feel like that really overlaps with the meaning of the group name MAZZEL.
It doesn’t force you to “do your best!”
It’s a song that feels like it’s right there beside you,
saying, “You can keep going just as you are.”

That’s why,
when I listen to it on days I lack confidence,
I feel like I can breathe a little easier.
Confidence might not be something that’s there from the start;
it might be something that is built little by little,
while we get lost and stop along the way.

So today,
I’m going to forgive myself a little bit
for “not doing things perfectly.”

And with that, today,

There are days when we feel impatient, but
it would be nice if we could just move forward at our own pace.
