No. 167 [Notice to Collaboration Event Participants] Events of November 24th

Today is a closed day.
It is our once-a-week day off. Please let us rest.

Now, there were people sightseeing yesterday as well, but since someone who came from far away mentioned something unfortunate, I decided to write this in case anyone currently enjoying the event should be aware.

A visitor who came yesterday said,“When I participated in the event’s shopping rally, many of the shops were closed.”That is what they said.

This is a common occurrence in shopping districts, but please be aware that in the current day and age, it is easy to assume that weekends are the days off. Since weekends are the busiest times for shopping districts, following old customs,most shops are basically closed on Mondays. Recently, more places have started opening according to the day of the week, but there are still many places where Monday is the day off.

I feel terrible that you had a disappointing experience after coming all the way from far away, so since I realized this yesterday, I am reaching out to inform you.

As for how to deal with this, I think you could: 1) Do some research beforehand, or 2) Avoid Mondays.It seems the event company is being quite careless. I feel it is truly rude that they are not thinking about the tourists, but this is the only warning I can think to provide.

Since you have gone to the trouble of coming to Isesaki, I apologize for the inconvenience, but please take care and enjoy your visit.

By the way, our facility is also basically closed on Mondays.
