[Design Reveal] The seahorse tattoo sticker, this is how it turned out.

In my previous article,

"Should I go for a cute style?"
"Should I go for a Jirai-kei or Visual Kei style?"
I wrote about how I was seriously agonizing over that.

Thankfully, more people read it than I expected,
and I even received comments and messages.

"Definitely the cute style!"
"No, I've never seen a Visual Kei seahorse, so go with that!"

Surprisingly, many people pushed for the Jirai-kei or Visual Kei designs, which shocked me. And above all, while writing the article, I realized something again.

That I have loved Visual Kei for a long time.

Acid Black Cherry.

Precious music that I listened to over and over during my youth, and that I still find myself wanting to play in the car.

So, when I start thinking about designs, before I know it, I'm drawn to black and purple.

Roses🌹
Silver chains⛓️
Gothic decorations.
A slightly dark and somewhat ephemeral worldview☠️

"A nurse making a cane, and now a tattoo sticker?"
I think that to myself too, but perhaps the things you love end up appearing in your creations just like that.

And after agonizing over it,

the first one I've decided to bring to life this time is—

"A Gothic/Visual Kei style seahorse"

I decided to go with that.

Of course, I still find the cute, sparkly, pastel-colored style very appealing.

In fact, considering the image of AquaStride, that might be easier for people to pick up.

However, for my very first step, I wanted to create a piece that was packed with everything I love.

That is what I thought.

Black as the base, with purple accents.

Dark red roses.

Silver chains.

And the seahorse, which is also the symbol of AquaStride.

I am currently working on commercializing this design, which fuses the worlds of 'yami-kawaii' (sick-cute) and the 'ocean'.

And actually, I haven't given up on the cute style either.

If there are people who like this gothic/visual-kei design and many of you decide to pick it up.

In that case, I would like to create a second series featuring sparkling, cute seahorses based on pastel colors.

I would be happy if I could gradually expand this world while watching the sales and everyone's reactions.

The proceeds from this article, excluding the development costs for the tattoo stickers, will be used to support the reconstruction of Noto.
