Stage Greeting
This year, through a stroke of luck, I went to my first-ever anime stage greeting.
It was an event featuring someone I admire, and I entered the lottery without expecting much.
I never thought I would actually win, and at the time... no, until the very moment it started, I doubted if it was all just a dream.
Up until now, it had been normal for me to only hear and see them through a screen.
But this time was different.
It wasn't through a screen. There was nothing between us.
They were truly there in person, I could see them with my own eyes, and I could clearly hear their voice directly...
The joy of actually meeting them was beyond words.
The bestIt was such a stimulating and wonderful time for me that it feels like an understatement to describe it with just those two words.
Above all, listening to them speak, I realized that every single cast member had a love for their profession that far exceeded my imagination.
Seeing them talk about their love for their work like that was so cool.
Doing the work you love... I realized once again what an amazing thing that is.
But it's not an easy thing to do...
I felt while listening to them that it might only be possible through a lot of hard work, experience, and connections.
I have things I want to do and a profession I want to pursue.
Writing books...
Being involved in anime works...
I want to do things related to creation like that.
Honestly, regardless of my age, I want to start now.
But I was reminded once again that you can't achieve things just by wishing for them or putting them into words.
What is the very first thing I should do...
I was made to realize that I have to think about that in detail first, and then keep working hard to turn my dreams into reality.
The stage greeting felt like it was over in five minutes, in the blink of an eye.
But it was packed with stimulation that could serve as hints for my future, and I thought once again...
I'm so glad I could meet this person...
I'm so glad I could encounter this work...
And I'm so glad I was able to participate in this stage greeting...
I felt it was wonderful and I was so happy.
I am grateful for this 'connection' and
while cherishing the events and thoughts of this day,
I intend to use this experience as a starting point to run toward the flag of my first goal.
Furthermore, I learned once again the importance of 'connections'.
That is why,
to everyone who found me and read this far, and to everyone who follows me,

I don't know how well I can convey this feeling through words or text, but I hope it comes across that I am simply filled with gratitude...
I want to spend my days cherishing the 'connections' I've made so far, and the ones I will make in the future.
