Mostly Sapporo, sometimes the sky and gourmet food somewhere in Hokkaido - 2025/11/23
I started my morning by bicycle at Zenibako Beach in Otaru. The sea was quiet, wrapped in clouds, with the blue sky slowly peeking through.
I had errands in downtown Sapporo today. The Hokkaido Government Office Red Brick Building, Mt. Teine seen from the city, TV Tower... the usual scenery looked a little special today.

🌊 7:30 AM, the view from Zenibako Beach, Otaru

The morning sea is somehow quiet and calming.
The direction of Mashike seen from Zenibako Beach was completely wrapped in clouds, with both the sky and sea in a gradient of gray.
But that quietness was perfect for the morning air.
The sound of the waves was also subdued, a time that makes you want to take a deep breath.
🌤️ A premonition of blue sky at Cape Takashima, Otaru

When I shifted my gaze slightly from the same spot, there was a break in the clouds toward Cape Takashima.
From there, a faint blue sky was starting to show its face, as if saying, "It will be sunny today."
In moments like this, I feel that the sky is alive.
I like how the morning cloudy sky gradually changes into the color of hope.
🧱 Near Sapporo Station in the afternoon, the red bricks shine

It was past 1:00 PM, and since I was in the Sapporo Station area, I went to the Hokkaido Government Office Red Brick Building as a tourist.
When I looked up suddenly, the red bricks of the government building stood out clearly against the blue sky.
The newly restored roof and window frames looked somewhat proud.
I feel like the city of Sapporo has this kind of "little bit of pride" everywhere.
🌇 A look at the western sky from a building in front of the station

When I looked at the western sky from a tall building in front of Sapporo Station, I saw Mt. Teine in the distance.
Seeing the mountain standing quietly beyond the hustle and bustle of the city is somehow a relief.
The sky was clearly sunny, and the afternoon light was shining gently on both the buildings and the mountain.
🗻 Mt. Teine seen from the west side, a bit fresh

I usually see Mt. Teine from the north side, but today it was from the west.
It's a little hazy, but the antennas are clearly visible.
It's interesting how the mountain's expression changes just by the angle.
It has a presence that makes you want to say, "Thank you for being there today, too."
🗼 Since I came to the city, TV Tower

When I come into the city of Sapporo, I always feel like saying hello to the TV Tower.
Today, it stands clearly against the blue sky, looking somewhat proud.
It feels more like a 'symbol of daily life' in Sapporo than just a tourist spot.
Everyone walking nearby was looking up at the sky just a little bit, too.
Shockingly rich and creamy! 🍜 The charm of Sapporo's rising star, 'Tori Paitan Ramen Hakkeisha,' and a regrettable mistake!
Today I visited a much-talked-about new shop that suddenly appeared in the office district of Chuo-ku, Sapporo: 'Tori Paitan Ramen Hakkeisha, Kita 1-jo Branch'!
2F Katsura-wa Kita 1-jo Building, 3-11 Kita 1-jo Nishi 3-chome, Chuo-ku, Sapporo

🧣 Today's summary: A day of looking at the sky, walking the streets, and relaxing with ramen.
Starting from the sea at Zenibako in Otaru, touring Sapporo's sightseeing spots, and ending with ramen.
The weather is fickle, but a blue sky is waiting somewhere.
The city scenery also looks a little different depending on the angle you look up from.
I've quietly recorded such a day with photos and words.
