The day my stickers were approved but I stopped sales
~Things I realized after making LINE stickers with AI~
To be honest,
I was really happy when my LINE stickers were approved.
"They actually got approved"
"They are officially 'On Sale'"
I haven't seen any results as a side hustle yet, but
just seeing them take shape made a big difference in how I felt.
But that joy didn't last long.
A fatal mistake I noticed right after sales started
Right after sales began,
I looked over the stickers and noticed something off.
There's a weird color on part of the image
Something wrong with the text I missed because it was small
When I looked into it,
I found that fixing it requires "Stop Sales -> Edit -> Resubmit".
Moreover,
which stickers
and for what reason I edited them
I have to write it all down properly, and
the fact that I made edits will remain in the sticker information.
Honestly, I struggled with this a lot.
"A decision I can only make now because they aren't selling"
What I thought about at that time was,
they haven't been bought by anyone yet
if I do it now, I won't inconvenience anyone
I don't want to keep them out there in an incomplete state
So I
chose to resubmit it as a new sticker set instead of fixing it.
What I learned for the first time here was
that "you cannot use the same title."
I think this is a very important point.
If you create something with the assumption that you will have to redo it many times,
you have to be careful when choosing a title.
The second time, it passed review quickly too
Thankfully,
the second application also passed review the very next day.
This time, just to be safe,
I bought the stickers myself
and sent them all to my secondary LINE account to check them.
Then—
I found another mistake.
The "o" looks like an "a"
Part of the text is distorted
A strange feeling that makes my eyes flicker
Honestly,
there were too many things I only noticed after I actually used them.
Sales suspended again. I was frustrated.
Once again, sales were suspended.
What I thought at that time was,
Even though I finally managed to sell them
I stopped them because of my own oversight
I'm worried if it's okay to have them suspended so many times
And above all,
I was angry at my own lack of discipline.
"I thought I had checked"
"I thought it was fine"
That 'intention' was the worst part.
I didn't send it back to the AI for corrections; I did it myself
At this point,
I stopped sending it back to the AI for corrections.
The reason was simple,
It might not listen to me again
The image might change and create more work
I can handle minor corrections myself
In fact,
it was within the range I could fix myself in Canva.
For the first time,
**'I don't have to leave everything to the AI'** is what I realized.
The reason I still wanted to release it
Honestly,
I think it would have been understandable if I had given up.
But I
wanted to release something proper.
Even if it doesn't sell,
as an original I created,
my friends can use it.
That alone is enough to make me happy.
The 'charm' that comes from it being my first sticker set
Differences in color tones
Lack of consistency
The imperfect parts
Including all of that,
I consider this my sticker set as I am now.
I've started making the next sticker set, but
the AI still won't produce the exact same image perfectly.
There are parts where I'm helped because I can't draw, and
parts where I feel the gap between myself and those who can draw.
Both exist.
But I didn't quit
With my previous side hustles,
the feeling of "this is a hassle" always won out, and I couldn't keep them up.
But this time was different.
Clashing with AI
Taking time to make corrections
Starting over many times
Even so,
I was happy that it took the "form" of a LINE sticker set.
That's why
I think I'll try to keep going for a little while longer.
I'm also accepting questions
This isn't a success story,
nor is it a summary of know-how.
It's just
a record of making things while feeling lost, stopping,
and still putting it out there.
The application process
The decision to suspend sales
How to deal with AI

feel free to ask in the comments or via message.
I will write honestly about what I can answer,
based on my own experience.
Even when you're feeling lost,
you can still move forward properly.
That was the story for today 🐮

It's free, so I'd be happy if you could give it a click.
