Why it's okay to switch between thoughtful comments and 'like' activities based on your mood
I feel that interaction has
both the enjoyment of being a user
and a business perspective.
Balancing both is best, but...
Even when I think, "Alright! I'm going to leave lots of comments today! I'm going all out!"
and start,
"I was having so much fun that I just kept reading 💦"
happens quite often.
I feel satisfied, but
couldn't you use your time more efficiently?is what
another part of me says.
Should I leave thoughtful comments today?
Should I focus on 'liking' today?
No matter which I choose,
the feeling of "Was this the right choice?" doesn't go away, so
I changed my way of thinking.
I decided toshufflemy interaction patterns every time.
Don't try to decide on your interaction style every time
When I interact,
I tend to get greedy, thinking, "Will this get the best results?"
But,
aiming for the best every time is quite exhausting 💦
The reason is that
my time and concentration levels vary from day to day.
That's why I decided
not to fix my interaction method,
but to balance things out by shuffling.
Shuffle Idea 1: Choose based on time and mood
The first one
is very simple.
Look at your
・Time availability
・Mood
・Physical condition
for the day, and choose what you can manage.
On days when you have time and energy,
read carefully and leave comments.
On normal days,
focus lightly on 'liking' activities.
On days when you're tired,
just read,
or read everything together at a later date.
No matter which you choose,
I treat it as a "day of activity."
Shuffle Idea 2: Choosing by Role
Another way is to decide based on
which role to play today.
The 'Reader' Role Day
Just enjoy reading.
Comments are left on impulse.
A day to return to being a user.
The 'Memorable Person' Role Day
Leave 1 to 3 thoughtful comments.
If I'm in the zone, it becomes about 5 to 7.
I prioritize leaving a gentle impression
in the other person's memory.
The 'Presence Confirmation' Role Day
Focus on 'suki' activities.
Just watching the flow.
A day to ensure I don't disappear from the scene.
The 'Passive' Role Day
I can return the reactions I receive, but
it's a day where going out is difficult.
Close to off-mode.
Each of these
is a role I need.
When I'm engrossed, the boundaries become blurred, but
I've decided not to worry about that either.
No matter which one you choose, it's not a mistake
Once I decided to use a shuffle,
I started reflecting less at the end of the day.
I check the progress by looking at the dashboard and notification column.
Is the PV increasing as usual?
How many comments have I received?
I use that to judge
whether to do more or stop here.
It's also fine to make your own feelings the standard for success
Interaction
can make you greedy because you can see the numbers, and
I can't quite shake the ulterior motive of
hoping they'll be interested in me, too (laughs).
That said, whether or not someone becomes a follower
is ultimately up to them, isn't it?
Even if one interaction doesn't lead to results,
if your own feelings are satisfied,
I think you can call it a success for the day.
Lately, I've been alternating between these two.
Shuffling based on time and mood.
Shuffling based on roles.
I switch between these two
day by day or depending on the time.
Because I don't decide that one way is always the 'correct' one,
there are fewer times when I feel like I 'couldn't do it'.
I think it's fine to 'start where you can',
and it's also fine to start with 'what you can do today'.
I hope this way of thinking
reaches those who need it.
Thank you for reading this far.
My thoughts on interaction have changed quite a bit since I first opened my note.
I feel like they will continue to change as I reach different stages.
Well then,
see you in the next article♡
