I own 15 Iron Maiden albums from their early days to the present, but among that vast catalog, this 'Brave New World' is one that I would unhesitatingly list as one of my 'greatest masterpieces'.

Of course, other classic albums have their own merits. However, the intensity of this moment when Bruce and Adrian returned and the band entered a new golden age, combined with the perfection of the heavy and dramatic sound played by the triple-guitar lineup, is truly exceptional.

I own 15 albums including those from the early days, but of course, I haven't covered every single work. However, having followed their journey for many years, this 'Brave New World' is a special album that I would unhesitatingly list as one of my 'greatest masterpieces'.

The conviction the moment I pressed the play button.

I buy a brand-new CD and carefully peel off the shrink wrap. It is the moment when a new world, all my own, reveals itself along with that crisp sound. With anticipation in my heart, I set the disc in the audio tray and quietly press the play button with my finger.

It was the very moment the sound started playing from the speakers.

Just the intro guitar shaking the air sends a chill down my spine. Ah, this is it. Without a doubt, it's a 'hit.' That sense of exhilaration when I'm convinced of that is something I never tire of, no matter how many times I experience it. In that instant when the digital signal travels through my eardrums and turns into passionate emotion, I become a captive of the band Iron Maiden all over again.

I have no siblings. I am not married, so when the time comes to say goodbye to my mother, I will be all alone. Sometimes, I find myself imagining such a future.

However, fortunately, I have many relatives.

It's something I wasn't very conscious of when I was young, but as I've gotten older, I've come to realize that the blood connection of relatives is irreplaceable for an only child like me. Even if our lives are different, someone is connected somewhere. I don't know how much reassurance I feel from that fact.

When I listen to this 'Brave New World,' the importance of such 'connections' sometimes sounds like it overlaps. A community like a family called a band overcame difficulties and became one again. Perhaps I am layering the peace of mind of not being alone and the warmth of strong solidarity onto their story.
