In collaboration with "ism", a web media outlet featuring many culinary experts such as Ryuji, Koh Kentetsu, and Kaoru Ariga, we are calling for ways to eat egg-on-rice and your own unique arrangements!
Using soy-sauce-marinated egg yolks
Adding salted kelp for an accent
Topping with butter for extra creaminess
...and so on. Please tell us how you eat your egg-on-rice! We also welcome food essays related to egg-on-rice, such as "I include the egg white, but my partner only uses the yolk."
The period is from today, October 10, to October 31.
From the posts submitted with the hashtag "#MyEggOnRice", the ism editorial department will select about 10 works to be featured on ism and included in an original booklet. Furthermore, for creators whose other recipes the ism editorial department would like to see, there is a possibility that we may reach out about a series.

We are happy to announce the sixth installment of this project, which the ism editorial department always looks forward to reading. We plan to feature the works from this round in an original ism booklet to be published next spring. Whether it's for a solo remote work lunch, a quick dinner on a tiring day, or a snack when you're feeling a bit hungry, please share your ideas for "My Egg-on-Rice" that you can make quickly (or with a little extra care) and that lift your spirits. We look forward to your posts!
