Creation might be a place to return to. You don't have to put a price tag on everything you love.
*I've attached two songs with lyrics at the end*
(Please listen to them if you'd like)
When you keep creating,
the numbers start to grow before you know it.
Number of views.
Number of plays.
Followers.
Likes.
Sales.
Number of posts.
Compared to the past,
how far your work has reached
has become much easier to see.
I think that is something to be very grateful for.
The ways to earn income from your work have also increased.
Writing text.
Making music.
Making videos.
Sharing content.
The possibility of your passions leading to work
is definitely expanding.
But lately
I've started to become curious about what lies on the other side.
I have to create more.
I have to post more.
I have to grow more.
Before I knew it,
even in the creative work I started because I loved it,
I kept demanding results.
So today,
I want to think about the opposite for a little while.
Let's stop trying to earn money.
Let's stop looking at the numbers.
It's not about that.
It's just,
right beside that, maybe we should have another place,
a place where it's okay to create even if it doesn't lead to anything.
That's the kind of story this is.
Beyond the point where the creator economy has grown.
Right now,
individuals are delivering their work
It has become common to earn an income from it.
note also has memberships.
YouTube also has monetization.
There are also various ways to deliver music.
Sometimes social media can even lead to work.
For creators,
I think it's an era where possibilities have increased.
On the other hand, recently,
it's not just the creators who are tired,
but there is also talk of content fatigue occurring on the viewer's side as well.
Such stories are coming up.
Every day,
a tremendous amount of work flows by.
Next.
Next.
And next again.
The creators, too,
feel like they will be forgotten if they stop,
so they post again.
That's when I thought a little.
I wonder when creation became so focused on results.
AI has made creation even faster.
Then AI came along.
It can create text.
It can create images.
It can create music.
It can even create videos.
Things that would have taken days not long ago
take shape in a surprisingly short amount of time.
This is truly interesting.
When I'm actually creating with AI,
things that would have ended up only in my head until now
can at least be given some form.
But
the actual production process isn't that pretty (lol).
That's not it.
One more time.
So close.
Why did it turn out like that? (lol)
Things like that happen all the time.
Create.
Destroy.
Return.
Create again.
Just because AI has become faster
doesn't mean the path to creation has become a straight line.
In fact, lately
I've come to think that those detours are interesting too.
Not just the finished work,
but the time that didn't go well.
The ideas I didn't choose.
The record of trying over and over again.
Even there,
the figure of the creator remains.
If we are to talk about AI,
rather than just showing successful finished products,
I want to show actually using it,
what it can do,
what it cannot do,
and where I got lost.
Perhaps it's much more interesting
to leave behind records like that.
And so, one word remained.
Return.
While thinking about recent creative work,
for some reason, this word stayed with me.
Forward.
Further ahead.
Newer.
Creation is
always looking in those directions.
But
maybe returning is also a form of creation.
What did I love?
What did I want to create?
Why did I start?
Trying to return there once.
And today,
while chasing the latest trends,
a song I suddenly remembered.
It's not a newly created song.
A work created in the past.
Among them,
the song I still like the most.
For the first time in a while,
I reread the lyrics to this song.
And then,
I let out a little laugh.
What I was thinking about today,
I had already written about in the past.
The core message of this song is
this.
Don't fix it, just return.
You don't have to try to fix it.
You just have to return.
At the time,
I didn't write it to create today's article.
Of course,
it's not a song about the current creator economy either.
But listening to it now,
It's strangely
overlapping with what I was thinking about today.

Return to Silence (369) | Lyrics
Intro
Deep breathing sound
Minimalist synth pads fading in
Verse 1
Noisy city sounds, 440 vibrations
Trying to force order, I feel suffocated
All that's reflected in the mirror is a distorted face
Even though there's no right answer, I keep searching for one
Pre-Chorus
Count to three and close your eyes
Let go of the six senses
The nine doors are opening now
Chorus
Don't fix it, just return.
The waves simply become particles
You don't have to change anything, it's fine as it is
You are the wave, You are the grain.
Inside the transparent mirror
I'm just returning to the silence
Verse 2
The lump of haze that can't be put into words
Touches the mirror that is you and turns into light
You don't have to solve it, you don't need an answer
There is just resonance there
Bridge
Slow down
The frequency of the universe...
3... 6... 9...
Resonance.
Chorus
Don't fix it, just return.
Waves, yes, become grains
Even a troubled heart is a beautiful pattern
You are the wave, You are the grain.
In front of a mirror that doesn't cloud
Just returning to the true sound
Outro
Fading out with heartbeat rhythm
Return to silence...
Just return...
From the same place, another world was born.
And
There is one more song.
This song is also 72 BPM.
Ambient Pop.
Lo-fi chill.
Deep bass.
Quiet synth.
A feeling conscious of 432Hz.
With Return to Silence
It starts from a place quite close.
But
The world that was created is completely different.
While using words and symbols reminiscent of ancient Egypt,
From silence
Heading further toward the origin that lies even deeper.
Rather than having made the same thing once more,
I tried advancing into another world while holding the same question.
Such is this work.

Hwt-Ka-Ptah (The Origin) | Lyrics
Intro
Deep bass pulse
Ethereal synth pad fading in
Nuk pu Iger...
I am the silence...
Verse 1
Kheru nut, un-ma'at
Noisy city, a place without truth
Men-men nefu, ib heseb
Trembling wind, the heart is torn apart
Maa-her, ben nefer
Looking in the mirror, not beautiful
Uben ra, ankh em keku
Searching for light, in the darkness
Pre-Chorus
Khemt...
3
Sis...
6
Pesdj...
9
Sesh en pet!
Oh, door of heaven!
Chorus
Ama Ma'at, un-kheru
Know the truth, no voice is needed
Nun uben, ib em shai
The waves shine, the heart becomes sand
Nuk pu Nun, Nuk pu Shai
You are the wave, you are the sand
Maa-her en Ma'at
In the mirror of truth
Iger... Iger...
To silence... To silence...
Verse 2
Kekui isfet, kheper en ankh
Darkness and chaos turn into life
Maa-her iten, se-nefer
The mirror of the sun brings healing
Ben djed, ben kheru
No words needed, no voice needed
Hwt-Ka-Ptah...
To the temple of the soul...
Bridge
Chanting whispers with delay effect
The frequency of the universe...
Khemt...
Sis...
Pesdj...
Ma'at...
Chorus
Ama Ma'at, un-kheru
Know the truth, do not adjust it
Nun uben, ib em shai
The waves shine, the heart becomes sand
Nuk pu Nun, Nuk pu Shai
You are the wave, you are the sand
Maa-her en Ma'at
Before the mirror of truth
Hana... Hana...
Return... Return...
Outro
Fading out into digital silence
Iger...
Silence
Ma'at...
Truth
Hwt-Ka-Ptah...
Chasing trends, I returned to the past.
Today
I was chasing new creative trends.
AI.
Creator economy.
Monetization.
Sending out.
I wonder what will change from now on.
I wonder what will become new.
I was thinking about things like that.
But what I arrived at in the end
was not something brand new.
It was the song I made in the past
that I love the most.
Somehow
that was the most interesting thing today.
Moving forward might not be
the only thing that is creation.
It is not just about making new things either.
When you are lost,
what did you love?
What did you want to create?
Why did you start?
Return to that.
And then again,
start from there.
I think that is also creation.
It's okay to have works that earn money.
It's okay to have works you want to reach many people.
It's okay to have a period where you chase the numbers.
But, right beside that,
even if it's not evaluated by anyone,
keep a place where you feel like creating for some reason.
You don't have to put a price tag on everything you love.
Time that doesn't amount to anything
might someday give birth to your next work, don't you think?
I'd like to ask you.
Is there something you used to love,
but drifted away from before you knew it?
Maybe music.
Maybe writing.
Maybe drawing.
Anything is fine.
If you were to
go back there once more now,
I wonder how you would feel.😊
Return to silence.
Just return.
🌱 Let's do our next creation here, too.
