We are holding a trip to visit the "Shiso Dream Railway" in a town without trains!
Good morning. This is Stationmaster Mizoguchi's morning live stream for July 15th.
[Announcement] I will be appearing on RKB Radio in Fukuoka!
I have some happy news. I, Stationmaster Mizoguchi, will be appearing on a radio program for the first time in a while!
For some reason, it is a program on Fukuoka's RKB Radio, and it is a show called "Sayaka Hattori's Shun-sugi" airing this Friday (July 17th).
I am scheduled to appear in a segment of that program at 10:00 PM. It seems to be about a 10-minute appearance.
It looks like I will be asked about my railway hobbies and the activities of the Noritetsu Travel Association. I am nervous, but I plan to enjoy talking about them.
It is a Fukuoka broadcasting station, but you can listen from anywhere in the country using the area-free function of "radiko." I would be happy if you could check it out.
[Held on August 15th] Visiting the "Shiso Dream Railway," which runs dreams through a town without trains
And one more thing, I would like to introduce an event by the Noritetsu Travel Association.
We will be holding a tour called "Let's Experience the Shiso Dream Railway," planned by our member Mr. Hiramura, on Saturday, August 15th, right in the middle of the Obon holiday.
The location is in Shiso City, Hyogo Prefecture, which is actually a "town without trains" where neither JR nor private railways run.
However, in that town, there is a wonderful "handmade dream space" packed with the dreams and passion of railway fans. That is the "Shiso Dream Railway," which was created by renovating an old folk house.
Inside the building, there is a sprawling railway model diorama that the members have painstakingly created, and there is no doubt that both adults and children will be excited the moment they step inside.
Bringing your own models to run is also OK! 3 hours for adults to enjoy seriously
You will spend a full 3 hours enjoying the "Shiso Dream Railway" on-site.
If you bring your own railway model vehicles, you can run them on this magnificent layout, and for those who do not have models, there are also vehicles available for rent.

For those who are "not that interested in models," please rest assured. For those who wish, we will guide you to the nearby "Yamazaki History and Folklore Museum." Alternatively, you are welcome to relax at a nearby cafe.
Since travel from Himeji Station to the site will be by local bus, we have set the capacity to a small number of 10 people.
If you are interested, please register for participation as soon as possible.
Please see this page for detailed information and to register for participation ▼
What kind of plans are you making for this summer?
Let's enjoy summer vacation as adults too!
Have a great day!
