Normal, futsu, and 'normal'

Clinging a 'normal' with an unclear range

“Normal” puts on a normal face,
slowly creeps into people's hearts,
and tries to play tricks on their freedom of choice.

“Normal” is its name, yet it is not normal,
possessing an abnormal power as well.

“Normal” is a word with
too wide a range;

it's light and heavy,
but
because it's easy to use, I think it's used quite a lot.

Can I get by without using it?
When I tried,
I found it surprisingly tough.

When I think, 'I won't use the word "normal",'
I find myself almost using it with a 'Ugh!'

I try to escape by saying 'generally speaking,' but
it's much the same.

Saying things like 'for the most part,'
I end up landing on something just as vague.

It's fine to use 'normal,' but I want to stick to light usage like 'futsu'
and avoid the heavy 'normal' that leads to people's suffering.

I suppose it means
