[Episode 3-2] "The Year I Learned to Trust and Delegate"
Even during my time as a mini-basketball coach, which seemed to be smooth sailing,
there was actually one group I just couldn't lead to victory no matter what.
Back then, I was... looking back on it now, I had become arrogant😅
"I have to do something to help these kids win!"
I was so overly motivated on my own💦
Whether in practice or in games,
rather than trusting the children,
I would say things like "If you do this, you'll win!"
I had already decided on the answers myself.
But the results didn't go well...
That was when I realized it for the first time.
"It's not just about me pulling them along;"
it's important to trust the children and leave things to them"🌿
The year we couldn't win was, for me,
It was a huge turning point where I learned the 'power of trust'.
If I hadn't had that experience, I don't think I would have
arrived at the way of thinking I have now ☺️
