A haiku I want to read aloud. It's cool ✨ Cold coffee by the window. I love the atmosphere of this flowing, like being in a quiet coffee shop in the afternoon. The sound of the door opening with a bell, and silence otherwise. A calm space where you can get lost in thought. Thank you for such a wonderful haiku ✨

"Brand new sneakers cry in the spring mud" This is something I really want you to enjoy along with the photo in the article. If you're a housewife, you'll definitely cry. Or maybe get angry. I used to pretend to step on new shoes to keep them from getting hurt, but when it gets to this point, you can only laugh 😂 It's also a haiku that gives you a little energy. The seasonal word "Cat's love." I thought the resonance of the words "a cough, then another" was lovely. I think the interpretation of the feelings behind the cough leaves a different impression on everyone. Do they want to be noticed, or not? Or is there something they want to say after the cough? The difficult seasonal word "spring chill." It was also a set topic for the Haiku Post whose results were announced this month. I get the impression that you have mastered it. While having a sense of the season, the mere five characters "a crease in"—which is not a verb—seem to reveal the subtle workings of the heart in the background. There must be various interpretations by the reader as to why the crease was made. "Skillful! This person is skillful!" 😳✨ is what I felt. I learned a lot. Thank you for such a wonderful haiku ✨

At the end of my scribbles, there I am, in the flower light
As I wrote in the comments section,
I felt there was an intention behind using hiragana for 'scribbles'
instead of kanji.
If you were to use other characters,
you could write it as 'joyful drawing' (rakugaki).
Life might just be like a scribble. Drawing lines as freely as we please.
Perhaps that trajectory is the 'self.'

I think singing is a wonderful thing.
It's okay if you don't remember the lyrics perfectly, and it's okay if you're off-key. Because singing is fun. Or perhaps, we sing because it's fun.
I like the feeling of thinking that such a version of myself isn't bad at all. The song that spills from my lips is
surely a melody that is uniquely mine.
