[Poem?] Guitar-style Washing Machine
A square shape
A bellows pattern rippling horizontally
Quietly turning the faucet
The water falling slowly
Plays a faint melody
Splitting as it hits the horizontal waves
Becoming six transparent harp strings
Slowly
Gently
It doesn't play even if you touch it with your hand
It doesn't let you strum free notes either
But it soaks into the heart
Reminding one of the calm daily life of days gone by
"Huh? What are you talking about?"
Fabric pressed down carelessly
Scrub scrub scrub scrub
A white foaming guitar
The strings are tangled
Even a faint melody is disrupted
"The sound of a guitar..."
"A guitar? Are you stupid?"
My mother says, sounding annoyed
"The 'good old' washing machine is broken and it's a disaster! You help me too!"
The guitar is handed to me carelessly
Quietly letting the water fall...
"You can't wash it like that! You do it like this!"
Faucet wide open
SPLASHHHHHHH
The basin fills with water in an instant
"Add the detergent, and like this!"
Swish swish swish
Bubbles flying everywhere
"Not a shred of sentimentality"
"Sentimentality? If you keep saying things like that, we'll never finish!"
