A Bolt from the Blue While Lapped
It has been 11 days since I started the 66-Day Writing Running
(commonly known as the 66-Day Lairun).
I'm starting to think I'm in a bit of trouble.
I had decided at the very beginning.
I would:
Post to Note every day for 66 days
Since it's a precious connection, I will comment on those participating in the 66-Day Lairun for the first time
I will read through every post from people in the group magazine
And so.
*What is the "66-Day Writing Running"?
If you are interested, you can read the beginning of the article below for a quick overview☆
And then, what happened?
Unexpected things (or rather, things I could have expected in a way) started to happen.
Running out of topics to post → Time spent thinking increases
More people joining the group → Time spent reading keeps increasing
The posts are interesting so I want to comment → Time spent writing keeps increasing
As a result, I'm barely managing to keep up with 1, but I realized I was about three laps behind on 2 and 3. Oh no, I'm at a level where I can't catch up anymore... (panic)
Just as I was panicking, during my lunch break, pinga message arrived from Yasu-san, the leader of the After-School Writing Club.
"Ryu-san, two posts today?! Are you okay?"
Eh...
ヾ(*д*ヾ三ノ*д*)ノ Oh no!! Oh no
Huh...?
ヾ(*д*ヾ三ノ*д*)ノ Oh no!! Oh no
Spinning around twice and panicking doesn't change the situation one bit.
Let me explain the meaning of "Two today?"! In the Writing Club, we take turns contributing essays on Wednesdays. And the deadline is 23:59 on the previous day, Tuesday. In other words, today.
Of course, I had completely forgotten about the Wednesday essay...
Huff, huff, huff, I'm gonna die... _ノ乙(、ン、)_
It wasn't just the 66-day writing challenge today (sweating profusely).
Yasu-san might be called a "Hyottoko" by those around him, but he is no "demon." He is a kind person who, if you say "I'm sorry," will say "I understand." But
Ahhh!!! I forgot! 💦
Hmmmm
I'll try to tackle the 66-day writing challenge, thinking that at worst, I can just keep it short.
I sent that reply at 12:30, right after I finished eating. Even if I spent the remaining 30 minutes writing, I wouldn't be able to finish, and my break time was forcibly over, so I went back to work...
After overtime, I took a seat in the workplace cafeteria, told myself to calm down, and for some reason, bought and ate an ice cream. (Is now really the time to be eating?!)

While eating, my eyes started throbbing, and I writhed in agony while holding them.
Alright, the routine to start writing is now complete (← Yeah, right!)
And somehow I managed to finish writing, and now I'm writing this on the train home.
Yasu-san always teaches us.
Write your episodes; that is what makes you one of a kind.
Yes. I feel like I've written a proper episode this time, but I don't know if it's at a level that's actually readable.
Another issue I'm concerned about is that I'vebeen lapped.
I think I'll struggle a bit more and try to pick up the pace. Are the backs ofeveryone running ahead of me far away or close? I won't know unless I try running!
