Trying to write on the theme of "Graduation"
Yesterday, I made a post like this.
Of course, the posting time was, as usual, just before the day changed.
To explain briefly what that means, I am participating in a project called "66-Day Writing Running (hereafter '66-Day Writing Run')" hosted by Yasushi Ueda.
If I can't post for 66 consecutive days (the number of days said to be enough to form a habit), I will be forcibly expelled from the magazine!! (Eek~~ the Hyottoko mask is scary~~)

Now, back to the topic.
I thought I would try writing on the theme of "Graduation," but I simply cannot recall any moving episodes related to 'graduation' from when I was a student.
Along with the fact that I was very shy to begin with, my memory is catastrophically bad. (Because I'm a fool...)
Things that would stimulate tear ducts or make people think hmm, that's deep like everyone else writes for the "graduation" theme are...
None! (I say definitively)
I was wondering what to do, when "Graduating from bad habits" suddenly came to mind. (I have plenty of those!)
At the After-School Writing Club, there are irregular assignment posting projects, but well, I always end up right at the deadline.
I usually write after work hours are over (lots of overtime), but I end up writing while moving on the train, or after I get home, eat dinner, take a bath, and finish talking with my family. It never ends...
Apparently, other members focus on writing by using morning time, preparing in advance (thinking in their heads), and not missing the smallest gaps of time. *According to Tatsunoko research
I am bad at that. I do have the ability to predict things in advance. But...
For example, on days off from work, I have plenty of time, but I brilliantly do nothing until night (sweat).
I probably have some "arrogance".
Who is it! Who is using honorifics just for this moment to approach me saying, "Tatsunoko-sama, you're a gentleman! Thanks for the treat!"!?
That's not the kind of "treat" I mean~🖐️
It's arrogance, arrogance.
I am an optimist by nature.
I tend to think that things will somehow work out.
And they often do, but rarely, I drop the ball... ← Wait, that's not good!
Then, today, I received this message from Yasu, the organizer of the 66-Day Writing Challenge.

Whaaaaaaaat!!!!
I panicked like crazy.
I looked it up myself.

Alright! (← "Alright" my foot, that was a sliding kick finish... I won't lose to Mr. Mitoma)
Hmm? A bad feeling suddenly crossed my mind ("Takashi, wait for me!" Oh, wrong kind of 'mom' lol) and when I checked the submission magazine...

This is it...I've done it...
Just because I'm a member of the After-School Writing Club doesn't mean I can get special treatment. Just as I was bracing myself... a message from Yasu.

Safe!!!!
*Hurriedly "added to magazine" yesterday's post
I hadn't read it, but he had even written about it in a tweet. The "Don't be afraid" part is actually scary lol

I almost "graduated" from the "66-Day Writing Challenge"...
No, no, no, let's use this as an opportunity to
"I am graduating from last-minute posting."
I would like to end this post by saying that. Swiftly. (← Don't be so smug)
It is the 17th day since I started the 66-day writing running.
