Continued 3: Right Away, 'Note Mandala' is Pushing Forward ★ The Rhythm is Good

Today I was able to wrap up work a little early at 7:45 PM. Yahoo! *I've never seen anyone other than Sanma Akashiya say 'Yahoo!'

In my previous post, I was full of self-reflection regarding the words 'don't make it feel sluggish' that I underlined myself, so I want to jump straight into the main topic. (Oh!? A storm is coming!)

Behold the seriousness of even skipping the munching time of the ritual! (← Of course, I'm still eating, though lol)

Now, let's go together on a journey of exploration for 'Pushing-Forward Writing'.

*I will leave the explanation of the 'Note Mandala', an 'invention for me who can't write to be able to write' advocated by Yasu, the head of the After-School Writing Club, to my previous post.

What kind of characteristics does the writing I call [Pushing-Forward Writing], which I lined up on the table last time, have? This is the 2/8th theme that makes it up.

The rhythm is good

★ mark... Something I felt I wanted to dig deeper into with this theme. Doing this seems like it will expand the Note Mandala later.

Red underline... The item I feel is most important among the 8 words.

● 3 characters
→Kansai people love 3 characters♪
McDonald's is Makudo. (Not Maaaaac!) Mister Donut is Misudo. Don Quijote is Donki. No, how about the theory that not just in Kansai, but young people generally abbreviate words to 3 characters?

● 5 characters
→It is no exaggeration to say it is engraved in the Japanese DNA, the 5-character sense of speed theory. Previously, when I went to a concert of my beloved Masashi Sada, he said during the MC, '5 characters have a fast speed to reach the heart, so there was a time I used them frequently.' Yes, it r e a c h e s.

● 7 characters
→ It's a story close to 5 characters, but I feel that 'Tanka', which is composed of 31 sounds in 5-7-5-7-7, has gone beyond a temporary boom and has now reached a cultural return that stimulates the Japanese DNA.
7 characters are also very compatible as parts of a 'song'. In other words, music. Isn't that right, my friend?

● Repetition
→ Literarily speaking, repetition. For example, repeating 'zutto' (always) as 'zutto zutto' gives the impression that feelings are included. You can feel the level of agitation more with 'motto motto' (more and more) than just 'motto' (more), right? (lol) However, you will get scolded if you don't say '
hai' (yes) only once...*The link for 'repetition' was very educational!

● Voiced sounds '゛' and semi-voiced sounds '゜'
→ Sounds that are crushed or sounds that pop. Things that suddenly bring a 'large change in sound' to the gentle fifty sounds that Japanese has. Modulate the monotony. In other words, don't let them get bored.

Sorry. I suppose most people don't know what Uguisu Ball is. This is it. It has a sweet and salty taste and is crunchy, crunchy, crunchy♪ Not many people know that it comes in different sizes, either.

The power of music is infinitely great, and it adds a booster to the sense of speed.

If you can use it, use it! (It's also important to accept that it will only reach those who understand.)

● Pressing on (Red underline)
→ If you can push it to the point where people say, 'Is there more? Still more? Enough already!', then I think you've mastered it.

The keyword 'pacing' will come up later.
For example, as an image, it's not a flow of slow → fast → slow → fast, but rather slow → fast → fast → fast → slow → fast.
I think this 'triple fast' is the true nature of 'pressing on'.

● Pacing *Duality
→ There is a term called 'monotony'.

Suppose there is a comedy duo that only does slapstick.
I want you to imagine it; there's nothing funny about it. (Well, obviously.)

Conversely, if there were a comedy duo that only did straight-man routines... while a 'high-level technical humor' of layering straight-man lines on top of each other would emerge, you would get tired watching it.In other words, the 'slowness' that pairs with the 'pressing on' becomes important.
