What is San Yuka
"San Yuka" is a mysterious name, isn't it?
I think so too, but I feel that being a little bit quirky is just right.
My real name is "Yuka Uezono." San Yuka is my business name.
It is a name for switching gears, one that I want to treat like yin and yang.
It's not that "Yuka-san" became "San Yuka."
Well, though, I think that would be fine too.
I have come to the conclusion that I should acknowledge and praise my own quirky sensibilities a little more.
I live in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture.
I live with my husband and our three daughters, a family of five.
My daughters are four years old and two-year-old twins. They are adorable.
My dream is to create a large, old church.
To be able to create a space that is silent, clear, and where everything is affirmed.
I make journaling and meditation a daily habit.
I love interacting with people, and I also love bodywork.
I am an Ayurveda therapist, but I don't want to stop there; I want to express the harmony of the universe.
Profile
~ Mind ~
Influenced by my mother, I had opportunities to encounter psychology and educational theory from childhood.
I spent my student days struggling with life, death, and the meaning of my own existence.
After experiencing emotional abuse, domestic violence, exhaustion in romantic relationships, and various twists and turns, I seriously engaged in introspection and escaped my predicament through action.
While working as a professional, I encountered psychology, Eastern philosophy, and energy theory, and came to understand that the problems I had carried since my student days could be solved through action.
Encountering Ayurveda, through my own experience,
I derived a method of mind-body harmony that emphasizes the senses.
~ Body ~
I was involved in pharmaceutical research for 11 years at graduate school and a pharmaceutical manufacturer.
My research themes included the mechanisms of neurotransmission in the brain and the prediction of drug pharmacokinetics in the body.
Amidst the trend of modern medicine advancing into the field of prevention, I caught a glimpse of the efforts to make individuals healthy at enormous cost, the various forms of happiness, and the limits of social security.
Triggered by childbirth, child-rearing, and physical and mental malaise, I experienced the seamless approach of traditional medicine.
In the midst of this, I arrived at the traditional Indian medicine of Ayurveda and encountered its charm and depth.
Using the setbacks and poor health I experienced as a springboard, I shifted my focus to activities based on Ayurveda to re-examine the essence of human life: the harmony of body, mind, and soul.
~ Soul ~
Just as my Mahadasha was transitioning into the Jupiter period, I encountered Vedic astrology and was shocked to discover that everything was written in the alignment of the stars.
Due to experiences in my childhood, I had a strong fear of things I could not see.
While energy theory and balancing my own state contributed to overcoming this fear, it was particularly the deepening of my understanding of life and death through studies such as Indian philosophy that proved effective.
I continue to strive to overcome the conflicts regarding life that I have held since my student days through introspection and action.
