Research on Left and Right #WeeklyShortShortNote

Once upon a time, the world was made of symmetry.
Mountains, rivers, human faces, and hearts were all perfectly aligned like a mirror image.
However, one of the gods, 'Hidari no Mikoto,' composed poems with only his left hand and danced with only his left foot. He was the first being to find beauty in 'difference'.
The one captivated by that song was 'Migi no Hime'.
A beautiful goddess who harbored a star in her right eye.
She grew flowers that could only be touched with the right hand.
The two deities were drawn to each other, and when the gods of left and right met, 'asymmetry' was born into the world. The wind shifted, the moon waned, and hearts began to sway.

The gods were angry, saying, 'The balance is collapsing.'

As punishment, Hidari no Mikoto was sent down to earth and ordered to conduct 'Research on Left and Right'.
He was to live in human form, searching for the beauty and truth that dwell within the 'discrepancies' of left and right.
And even now, it is said that whenever someone feels drawn to the differences between left and right, a descendant of Hidari no Mikoto quietly appears by their side.

Dreaming of the day when someone with a star in their right eye and someone who writes poetry with their left hand meet once again.
