My sleep improved after we started sleeping in separate bedrooms
My sleep quality improved after I started sleeping in a separate bedroom from my husband.
Ever since we got married, we had always slept together in a large bed.
On cold days, I would even use my husband's warmth to stay cozy, so I didn't feel like there were any downsides.
As we got older, however, I started feeling a draft in the space between us, and I would wake up whenever he tossed and turned because the covers would move or get pulled away.
Gradually, I began to feel that it might be better if we had separate beds.
Then came the COVID-19 pandemic.
There was a trend of setting up tents inside the house for indoor camping, and my husband, who likes small spaces, took a liking to the tent.
We set up a tent in an empty room and placed a single-sized mattress inside,
and the tent became his bed.
It has been over two years since we started sleeping in separate rooms like that.
The tent is just a regular Coleman tent,
but perhaps to my husband, it looks like a canopy bed from an overseas hotel, fit for a king or a princess.

I am sleeping spread-eagled in the large king-sized bed I was using before.
